Stocks tumble to start the week

Not sure why this didn't get posted here in the forum. Monday was a crazy day for us in more ways than one. As always, the latest commentary is also posted here daily: https://www.tsptalk.com/comments.php

This was for the morning of 4/22:

Stocks were rocked again on Monday as the news continues to leave Wall Street with uncertainty. There was a late rally that took the indices off their worst levels of the day, but it was still a rough session of trading. The weakness in the dollar has been a concern, but that is to the benefit of the I-fund as far as being relative to the US stock markets. Bonds were down as well as yields moved higher.

More returns

I know the timing is awful with the markets in turmoil, but I have some turmoil on this side of the website as well. That is, we moved the website to a new server again to tighten up security, but some our code is not working the same on the new server so I spent most of my day on Monday fretting more over keeping the website up and running, and not on the market in free fall.

I did not like the breakdown in the S&P 500 (C-fund) chart and it could mean a test of the lows is on the agenda, but it doesn't have to be as we talked about this a little last week regarding the various bottoming processes.

Trump didn't help yesterday after some very choice words for the Fed Chair Powell.

Sadly, this is the least of my problems as I work on my tech issues. I will be able to upload this in the public area of the website, but I am currently (Monday evening) working on being able to get the Premium Reports posted. Getting behind the payment wall is a little more complicated. We'll get it done one way or the other, but it may mean the site has to be put back on the old server, which means some possible downtime again.

I don't have a tech team, per se, although I do have a hosting company that has been very helpful, but they are not paid to fix code errors - just keep the servers up and running and maybe push me in the right direction, so I have to do some work and can't do much more here until I get to it.

Hopefully by the time you read this the issues will be behind us, but if not, my apologies and I'll have my head under the hood until it's done.

DWCPF (S-fund) lost a similar percentage to the S&P 500 / C-fund. Unfortunately I don't have time to post charts today.

ACWX (I-fund) continues to outperform with the help of our plummeting dollar.

The F-fund (BND) was down as yields moved up. This is getting a little concerning.

Thanks so much for reading! We'll see you back here tomorrow.
