Squalebear's Account Talk

Great pics SB. It is going to be a special Christmas.

Some years ago, I asked my wife to marry me on Xmas Eve. She found her ring attached to the paw of a 4 foot tall Teddybear (go figure). Over the years, we (as a family) have sacrificed and given up sooooo many holidays to the Dept. of Justice. Xmas has always been our one and only holiday each year and now we have yet another reason to celebrate. ;)

I was going to make a <1%IFT today, that is, until I saw that my (C) Fund is likely to grow today. That puts me in a position to raise both my (C) and (S) Funds another 1% each and lower my (G) to 21%

Currently at 11:34am:

(G)22.91%
(C)36.11%
(S)40.99%

The (S) Fund just breeched the $16 per share mark (Intraday).
Should (S) move higher, I'm hoping for a 41.01% for tomorrow (Ehh-Maybe).
(C) Is definately moving up to 37% barring any unforseen catastrophies.

Best Of Luck Everyone !

I've been given a valuable gift which I don't take for granted. ! ;)

The kids have been accepted to move into their own Townhouse. I think I'll hold the Woo hostage !

Squale, my dear wonderful brother,

I'm going through the hospital making my rounds and checking up on everyone. It looks like you're in 'good spirits' and doing well.

I'm thrilled !!!

Well, heading to Grandma's room

Have a great day my friend :D

Hello and Happy Holidays to everyone ! With 6-1/2 trading days left in December, I decided to bail to the (G)arage for a Oil Change and a Tune Up. It appears that the S&P500 (C) keeps bouncing off the 1116 ceiling and the Wilshire4500 (S) is finding comfort in the upper 518 area. This may be the only day that we see a Santa Rally. I toyed with the notion of leaving half of my investment "IN", however, I'm convinced that the buck will stop here (or close by) and I decided to pull my puppy out of the pen. Tomorrow might see a follow up, but my gut speaks volumes about the last few times we wanted to see the ceiling breeched. We saw a one day rally wiped out the following few days later. I want to avoid the loss and call December a success.

2009 saw tremendous gains (as the auto tracker dictates) and I want to congratulate everyone that took full advantage of it. For me, I opted to be extremely conservative at times, due to the 8% hit I took in 2008. Boy that +30% looks like old times. Back when there was no (S) or (I) Funds. You remember ! It was the early to mid 90's ! Back when the only restrictions we had to face were our own fears and the almighty Bear. Times are still uncertain and we have yet to see a "shake the tree" type Correction. For me, times are tighter then they ever have been, contributions have stopped and I'm just too damn scared to risk the small nest egg that I accumulated over my 19.5 years of Government Service.

Good Luck To Every !

Lmao,,,,,,,it took me so long to write my last post,,,,,,,that
the s&p breeched 1116 to 1117 and made all of my comments abit
obsolete. I hope she goes to 1120 and beyond ! Today ! ;)

Squale,
This looks like a perfect day to 'cash in' !!

It's always wonderful to see you on board and I hope you and Kelly and everyone else have a wonderful Christmas and the New Year provides increasingly 'bright' opportunites.

Slowly ~~ but surely ~~ it sounds like things are working out and sometimes all we can do is wait.

Don't forget you are an Amber -- and that means you're something incredibly 'special'.

Steady

Cash In ,,,, I Did ! I won't lie, it was hard.

We wish you the same (x's 2) my friend !

Both Kelly and I will be fine. Waiting gets easier over time !
Don't forget you are an Amber -- and that means you're something incredibly 'special'.
I won't ! Where else are you gonna get Dinosaur DNA for cloning. There's a beef shortage out there. ! BrontoBurgers anyone ?

With todays IFT I bailed to the (G) Fund for 2009. My next opportunity won't occur until Monday, January 4th, 2010.
In real-time figures, I'll finish 2009 with a respectable +8.7201% YTD. At my lowest point I managed to lose -11.1641% YTD
by March 6th, 2009. 2 months later I was still in the RED and spending over $197,000 in the I.C.U. and Cardiac Wing of Penn
Presbyterian Hospital. Ok, so I'm a shop-o-holic. Suite me ! On October 9th, 2009 I reach my peek performance by gaining
+9.4758% YTD. I only wish I had a better grip on the Market at that time, but, I was recovering from Implant Surgery a few
days earlier. I know that my gains for 2009 can't compare to some of the +30%'s that I see in the tracker. But I take great
pride in my +19.88% turn over from Bad to Good ! It took a "Don't Look Back" {Boston's 2nd Album Reference} mentality to stay
focused on the goal and its achievability. So you Boo-Hoo'ers out there using the "I don't have the time to watch my
retirement" excuse, forgive me for saying; "Wake up and smell the future, because its heading your way like a run-away
freight train ". Now that I'm done gloating and looking for cheese to go with my whine, I want to say to each and every
one of you here at TSPTalk.com:

"You gave Kelly and I strength and support during one of the scariest times of our lives. Its a debt we couldn't possibly payback. But we'll spend the rest of our days trying to validate your kindness in any way we can. God Bless you all ! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Phew, pass the egg nog!"

Handballer, I made a small post on your Account Talk thread. ;)

Thanks squalebear. Today I made my 8th IFT this month. Thanks again for that great tip.

Your granddaughter is a lovely child. I think we all fell in love with her. Merry Christmas to you and your family. Take care.

Oh my gosh !!!

That's more than some of us make in 3 months !!

Geee Wizzzz ..... that's just amazing !

Squale - there is no way possible anyone could reduce the value of your life and the lives of your family down to an insignificant amount like $20oK.

Now if it were $980 Trillion ... well I don't any of us are worth that much ... but you may be the one rare exception.

Kelly's love or (Teddy Bear as I call her) -- anyway her LOVE really shone through and it was very touching.

You paid it back by surviving and sharing the joy of that little munchkin with us Squale -- I promise I really mean that and for being who you are and a part of our lives.

God's richest blessings to you too my friend and give that Bear a little hug for me.

Merry Christmas and the Happiest New Year Ever !!

2010
Another decade marches by and another opportunity awaits us all !
Clean that chalkboard off and don't second guess yourself !
This year, we are wiser then we were. Lessons learned were many !
The biggest one for me being; We are never truely alone !
Those who care are always within arms reach !
Even if they live on the other side of the world !
HAPPY NEW YEAR !

Our birds did not look to hot sunday. Give them a pep talk before sending them back down to the lone star, please:worried:

It was truely sad ! Our Birds crapped all over the field on Sunday !
Hopefully, the Boys will get tired of poop-scooping and allow us to
win 1 out of 3 games ! I'll put Sundays performance behind me and
thank the Lord they weren't in Philly. Its been 19 degrees and they
would have needed a chisel to clean up their crap !
