Squalebear's Account Talk

Hey SB,

I see that you are cruising the MB. :D

Ooops, Sorry I missed ya Nasa. I try to check out the MB as much as
I can, even if for only for a few minutes. I'm sure wheel stop playing
Log-On Tag soon enough and get some time to chat. In the mean time,
It was great hearing from you. I'll try to catch ya tomorrow. ;)

ooh, you beat us! It dropped to low 40's here the other night. I only just picked the first ripe cherry tomato last night, nothing else ripe yet except herbs and hot peppers. Starting a garden from scratch last spring meant seeds and plants went in late. Will go better next spring now that I have beds created and prepped.

Ordered heavy-duty commercial frost-protect fabric over the weekend-hope it gets here in time-squash, tomatoes, beans need a few more growing weeks yet before I let them go. In the meantime, cold frame construction progressing slowly. I'll get there tho.

Sounds like it's time to switch to The Pumpkin Patch. :D

I loved your comment on your IFT.

This may be the best time to get invested, when your scared silly. ;)

That warm feeling around my legs doesn't feel as wet as it did yesterday.
Nice overpayment in the (I) Fund added some spice to todays trading. I
guess going 100% today wasn't such a bad move after all. But I have my
eye on that ever so scarey correction that never seems to show-up. Not
a bad thing because Bulls don't like company and its certainly kept many
on the sidelines. Nice call CH ! :)

Once again, the (C) and (S) gave me a smile, while the (I) Fund tries to
take away profit. I see the (I) losing about 0.04 cents come 7:30pm. Hey,
I'll take a small overpayment tonight if they be so inclined. I won't hold my
breathe either ! Since being diversified throughout all of the Stock Funds,
I still hit pay-dirt today. That gives me (8) Eight Straight Days of profit !
Heck, can I be so bold as to make a Year Ending goal "Double Digits" ? The
short answer is "Hell Yah". I was on skid row in March. Heck, anything is
possible. Ok, enough hoopla ! I'm still a scared SOB looking for a pullback.
What will bring this house of cards down ? When will it all end ? If anyone
has a clue, please fill us in before we get smacked down like Triple H in
a grudge match against Stone Cold Steve Austin ! ;)

Les, you could not have chimed in on a better persons thread. SB is the shiznickel.

SB, no more laughing:D
By the way when I opened your post from yesterday I was wearing my glasses. I had to check and make sure they were not my wifes. It kinda jumped at me.:)

BT, your definition of courage is slightly different than mine but it does take a mind not afraid of risk.

SB,

Congrats on your numbers. I'm catching up to you. I'm at -0.01 in the tracker.:D WOO HOO!!! Speaking of the tracker I noticed YTD you have 49 IFT's, eccougar has 34, I'm at 33 and KevinD has 31. That's some nice company. Take that FRTIB. TTPPPPPPHHHHHHH!!!!!!!

Not many transfers at the top of the tracker though... :suspicious:

Sellers are gettin no traction. Time in the market can often times be more rewarding than timing the market - just ask Griffin. He used to be a prolific timer proponent.

Before I catch-up on my reading (below) I wanted to share my IFT:

35% (G)
05% (F)
20% (C)
20% (S)
20% (I)

Lowered my risk in stocks by 40%,,,,,,,Kept at least 05% in the (F) Fund
for possible <1%IFT participation. Put the rest (35%) back into the garage
for maximum protection. With 10 trading days left in the month of September,
each day that passed, dragged me closer and closer to the Panzy Brigade.
Hey, 65% still at risk doesn't mean that I'm crying uncle either. So there
ya have it. Good Luck in your decisions ! ;)

SB is the shiznickel.

Is that anything like a weenerschnitzel ?

Shhhhhhhhhhhhh ! Big Brother is watch'n ! (LoL) Fine company indeed ! ;)

Not many transfers at the top of the tracker though... :suspicious: les2l8: Don't be shy. Join in! Welcome!

Not many started on January 01st, 2009 either !
Les2l8, I couldn't agree with KevinD more. Walk right in, sit right down and join the Partaaaay ! :)

I'm just a prolific "Fraidy Cat" ! Does that make me a ManBearPigCat ! (referencing a very funny, previous post) 65% will still allow me to ride the train with
you and the Honorable Griffin ! Good Luck to us all !

Its my understanding that Option Expiration day is just a few days away.
At least, thats what I thought I heard. If true, what kind of affect might
one expect from such a day. Bonds, as well as stocks ?

Thats a good question, and I won't embarras myself by trying to answer it with an inteligent response. However I will be interested to see the responses you do receive from those whom we trust will not tap dance.

I would expect higher volume on a quadruple witching day. I'm more curious to see if anyone believes it would be an amplifier to trends especially if today goes strongly bullish...I too am no expert.
