Ok, I realize its early just yet, but the US Market Futures are up by enough
to make this worth mentioning. Currently the US Future Returns are as follows;

DOW= +1.55%
NAS.= +1.07%
S&P.= +1.69%

EAFE= +1.46% (Current Trading)

Tomorrow could be a big day. TT Timmy's plan has some merit if they put the proper precautions in place to prevent gaming the system.:sick:

Speaking of Luck, March Madness has been fun to follow. I'm still in the
running. Call it beginners luck ! ;)
 
The EAFE INDEX closed up +3.00% and the EFA closed up +7.20%
I'm thinking Friday's FV and the Deficit will bring the Fund Managers to
their collective knee's and we'll see a huge payback. But they have the
option to keep the current $0.1812 TSP Cent debt; right where it is,
decrease it (likely) or raise it alittle.

Here's the difference in the (I) Fund Price if they payoff the deficit down
to zero,,,, or if they leave it at its current eighteen cent level;

Paid down to zero: $12.5099 per share or +4.84% today (Anything more will put us in "Overpayment" territory AGAIN)
Deficit Unchanged: $12.3029 per share or +3.10% today

This next move by the Fund Managers will be a "TELL" on what kind of
week they think we'll have. (texas hold'm reference) ;)

I'm looking at a chart $EFDY (I use this for the EAFE Index)
and after 1:35pm (its closing area) the Index took a tremedous
drop from its closing level.

Close: 1086.19
1:35pm:1059.06 (2.49% drop)
4:00pm:1066.44

After Hours Trading ? I don't know if this means much,
in the way of todays gains, but it was worth mentioning :worried:
 
Monday - March 23, 2009
The "Deficit" temporarily disappears into the "Overpayment" side
of the O/D Tracker. The +5.75% gain is sweet, but not as sweet
as the US Market returns or the EFA's returns. Which brings me to
tomorrow ! The last time we were in the "Overpayment" side, they
added to it the next day. Maybe we'll get lucky again ! But odds are
in favor of a reduction and not an increase. Good Luck ! ;)

I believe as others have posted that by weeks end, the market could test
the upper 700's (resistance). But something is telling me that today will be
mixed, simply because everyone believes its going down. Someone is going
to call this a Contrarian view. I guess it is. But I know this, I've seen the
wrong conclusion more then I've seen the correct one, with concerns to
where I believe the Market is going to move. Call it reverse psychology !
But my gut is saying this is a setup for investors to bail while the day ends
mixed to green. Just the thoughts of a mad man ! ;)
 
Back to the (G) Fund ! Lock in those gains and wait for a cheaper entry point ! Good Luck Everyone ! ;) 100% (G)arage

"odds are in favor of a reduction and not an increase." The Fund Mgrs.
reduce the "Overpayment" right into the "Deficit" side of the O/D
Tracker and in a BIG way. We now hold in the "High-Range" area
and the EAFE Index currently stands at +0.43% and will close in
the afternoon tomorrow. Maybe we can get alittle love back, out
of this puppy come 4:20pm. In the mean time, Good Luck ! ;)

As strange as it may sound, I'm actually greatful for the great bear market and crash of 2008 into January and February of this year. This has already set the stage for amazing investment opportunities that will make anything I've seen over the past ten years pale by comparison. As usual by definition the bottom of a bear market has to be the point of maximum bearishness - we are now up 20% past that mark. Looking back at prior bubbles, when they have burst, the market has almost always overcorrected. But stock market history shows that just as today's downturn has been severe there will be a massive upswing as liquidity waits a vent hole. New employees should see this market as their blessing to acquire more shares with their money than they could a few years back - they are the lucky ones if they exercise their potential. Bring on the big V and take us back to SPX at 943.
 
A Final Thought For Today: There are just over 50 members who are
fully participating in this rally. With a total of 193 members listed. Thats
a quarter of the membership and I can't help but think that the numbers
would be so much higher without the FRTIB's interference. I'm over the
anger and have been for some time. I was one of the "insideous" ones
who ignored their warnings to the end and paid the penalty for my belief
that we deserved the right to manage our money as WE saw fit. Now, it
just makes me sick and I wanted to get this off of my chest !

On a positive note: I couldn't be more happier for those who time the
current rally with Professional Accuracy (intended or not)! Congrat's
and kick some TSP butt for me !

(LoL) My gut says it will hold and I'm experiencing Pressure Sickness from
being so deep ! :nuts: There will be another day AND another way. When it
comes, I'll be there ! ;)
