Should the LOUNGE be abolished?

Let me say this. In the last two day's I have been Thanked by almost every woman on this site either by way of PM or Rep Points with added messages of Thanks.

I think us men should remember, We have a small percentage of woman to men on this site and some things that we think is funny (And I think is funny too) is not funny and even sometimes disrespectful to there gender. They don't speak up openly because they know they are outnumbered and fear being laughed at and humiliated.

I have been thanked by 9 woman. What do we have maybe 15 woman total. :blink:

I think KevinD is onto something as far as When we click the field Today's Posts don't include "The Lounge". Make it a couple extra clicks to get to and at that point Carry-On for the most part with whatever you want to say. Also "The Lounge" posts don't bump the financial posts. :)

I guess I got lost when over visiting the JailHouse the other day - yesterday? I, too, thank you, poolman, from your note I understand that females were being attacked - I will confess, thou, somehow I've missed whatever you all are discussing!:embarrest: I do recall when revisiting old times recently at the GOOJF site, that there was a note by an offended about there being such `frivilolity' on such an `auspective' financial site as we are. Reading that made me recall my first experience with Black Humor as a new nurse - it didn't take many of those situations to get over feeling any offense! So, if I choose to be offended I will most probably take on any one of you, - even to the point of Bear Bryant's hat! -
Men are definitely wired differently than women - and that is probably why God created only the two kinds..........

It is easier, though, to just avoid certain threads. It has been months since I've used the IGNORE button to avoid certain posters. It is possible that the rest of the female count are like me - just have missed, deliberately or not present, the threads in discussion....
 
Rather than abolishing the Lounge, why not just get rid of some area of it. SteadyGain's Groove and Trip Pad should go but keeping the breasts is okay.:)

Another thing, calling some Silly Wabbit and Old Sand Lizard is hurtful. That kine language should be abolished, not the Lounge.:(

I dunno Buster, I suspect that there may have been some uric acid in my own breakfast that morning.

I do think it might be fun to run over a few hybrid or electric cars not because I dislike the technology involved, just the attitude/ignorance of most of the owners about their saving of the planet with zero emissions.

I have to admit..that was a very pleasing vision you painted for me..I love the fact that when I see one of those Ni-Cad landfill polluters trying to be careful going through a deep puddle..I take every opporntunity to swamp em as I go by..Freaking leaflickers:laugh:

Oh oh..I can feel it coming..the treehuggers are massing at the curb outside

I don't remember..came up durning many discussions about Treehuggers vs Hummers...The whole green movement/save the spotted owl, destroy a Hummer by burning it thing, time frame

Right click on one of them and in properties you'll find the url/gif address.

copy and paste to your hardrive somewhere...It's my photobucket account img/gif and I'll never delete it.
 
Well, they are pretty cool. Just like the one with the two finger sticking up. I am not very computer savvy so most everything seems cool to me. :D

I grew up with an Etcha-Sketch for crying out loud.:notrust:
