So in other words, the rights of one mentally confused boy who doesn't know what sex he is has now taken precedent over the rights of every real female student at the school who has now lost all expectations of privacy (not to mention decency and dignity).

so basically, this guy was being a jerk about nude photos he had of her and she kicked his ass. this is probably why you can't find any nude photos of ronda rousey online. problem solved.

while i agree with the premise of this article in theory, domestic violence in any form should never be tolerated, ask yourself this practical question: do you want to be the one to go tell ronda that to her face?

well i have to be honest here and give that boy some credit. i would've done almost anything to get into the girls' locker room and shower with the girls when i was in school. but i wouldn't do that.

is this a real story with a real letter from a real federal government agency that alleges transgender discrimination against that school district for not allowing one boy to shower with all the girls?

this is a spoof story, right?
 
I agree with burro that back in the day this might have been a way in to the girls shower…but would not have worked. We were not enlightened in those days.

I suppose the solution is to build locker rooms, rest rooms and any other room anyone wants for transgender/curious/questioning/not sure yet people. Maybe just one big room in the beginning and let them fight it out? I suggest using classrooms for this purpose as no one needs education anymore.

I see that the “born male” student is referred to as a “female student” by officials. How do they determine that, by certificate of birth? Physician’s examination? Perhaps physical attributes should be applied to the student as to gender. Perhaps she should be placed in the girls shower and allowed to soap things up and be observed for any physiological reactions? Perhaps before she can be allowed in the girl’s locker room any offending appendages/glands should be surgically removed. NO! What if she changes her mind later?

Very confusing times we live in. I am sure things will all work out after enough money changes hands, mostly from the school district to parents and lawyers.

And where will the school district get the funds to pay off parents and lawyers? Hint: I just paid a year's worth of property taxes today. Higher than last year, of course, even with the discount.

Seriously, PO? Do you really believe someone would wake up one day and decide they are transgender and go through all the pain, expense and the public scrutiny to just change their mind at a later date? :notrust:
