Yes it seems we will be forced into a buy and hold strategy wheather we like it or not. I would say that following the sentiment survey would probably work most of the time with few IFTs.:)

Could it be time to think about easing back into the fray? Has everyone got this out of their system for awhile? Only the shadow knows!!! Maybe next week.

Guess Santa came thru on the rally:), could lose it all before the New Year  We'll just have to wait and see. My highest returns of the year. Hopefully can carry it over into next week.

Ended the year up about 5.5% after being down on the bottom most of the year. :) Wise investing to all and thanks to all that make this board possible.

I wonder if everyone IFTed to the L2040 fund for the next 3 months. The TSP board would have egg on their faces since their expenses would still be high but no one IFTed. What could they say then? That they want to do away with the L funds since they cause too much expense?:)

Thinking about bailing out on this up tick but that would leave me outside my plan and after being without a consistent plan last year and being near 0 most of the year I am reluctant to abandon ship. The problem seems to be that my plan is somewhat contra in nature and so in a down trending market it would keep me in. Probably too soon to make that call yet. Full steam ahead.:):)

AAAARRGH!!!! This is like a submarine, every day its dive, dive, dive. The fundamental are bad, the technicals are horrendous. Why stay in this mess???. Same thing happened in Aug and I bailed out just in time for the markets to zoom up. What is plan B??

Well I suppose I will stay another day. Maybe 1375 will hold. In the long run it may not make much difference. As I have heard they will eventually absorb the TSP into the Social Security fund to help keep it solvent. What a warm and fuzzy feeling!!!NOT:mad::mad:

That would cause a MASS EXOIDUS!!!
