It seems my x and y have stopped posting (gone ebbing I suppose) so I guess I am back with just z. So its back to 100% G for Strategy # 584.

Since a lot of the experts have departed maybe this is an opportunity for me to develop my expertise in stock market pontification. A chart I saw seemed to indicate that there is short term declining highs which in some cases can be a leading indicator of a coming correction usually to the down side. On the other hand I think it was a weather forecast I was looking at. Maybe I should get my own neural software, it seems everyone has that now. This is still a great site for gaining knowledge and information about the TSP. Keep up the great work folks!

You are right as usual Birch. It's just that there is sooooo much information out there about the stock market, that one has a difficult time filtering out the most relevant stuff. Basically I am overwhelmed by it and would rather run a half marathon (which I did last Sat.) than try to figure it out. I guess at my age one must allocate their time by priority and trying to learn about the stock market from step one is not a high priority with me. I would rather follow someone else's advise and spend my time doing things I enjoy. But to each his/her own. I admire your knowledge and grasp of the inner working of the stock market and always read your posts with interest but most of it passes way over my head. I am probably a good candidate for the L funds, but it is interesting to dabble with the other funds to try and gain some basic understanding of how it works. You always challenge me to learn more about it, Thanks.

Asian markets slide on US worries

The dollar hit a record low on Monday after a meeting of finance chiefs from rich nations offered no words of support for the currency, while Asian stocks had their biggest fall in two months on mounting US worries.

Seems to me that neither tracker is very valid for tracking. The old tracking so many have stopped posting and the new tracker so many haven't started posting. Its kinda like comparing apples and oranges.
