The NIKKEI hasposted its first GREEN day since 9 May. Perhaps a sign of things to come???

Itjust may beenough juice to kick-start the (I).

As of now, the rest of the foreign markets are doing rather decent.

Hey Mike, you may have timed this one just right!:)

God Bless:^

Will you stay with 50/50 S&I mike?
I'll answer in my account shortly Susan, but I'll most likely go 100% I because I'd expect a little pull back after 3 up days. Hopefully.........

I'm thinking along those same lines, Mike. But I don't know if I'll go 100 (I).

I may go 60 (I) and 40 (G). Like you said, the US Markets are due for a lil' pullback.

Hey, I'm UP after 4 hours of sleep... I just couldn't sleep. So, NOW I get to make an IFT the day OF instead of the day before since I work graves and usually asleep by 0900.:D

Looks like I may be a day late, but at least andhopefully I won't be too short or buy in too high. But either way, I should be entering at the start of the up-trend that may last a few days.

Again, it looks as if you made a good timed call, Mike. I saw it coming too, then finally decided to take theplunge last night.

I'll give it an hour or so to decide if I want to goheavier into (I). At this point, I'm thinking, "HECK YEAH!":l

This is IT! The (I) is ready for the taking!:^ It should react positively tomorrow.

As Mike said, the (C) & (S) are nearing pull back mode. I'm going to bank those gains from the past few days.

Effective Thursday:

30 G

70 I

Something is going to be happening in (I) quite soon. Check this out, over this past year, the (I) has had 7 or more days of consecutive losses only twice.

15-30 Mar (9 down days in a row) Remember "March The Terrible"???:P

16-27 Jul (7 down days in a row)

We have now went 7 consecutive days down. The exchange rates still continue toweaken while the dollar strengthens. BUT, I don't want to be caught by surprise once (I) rallies. I believe it is going to happen soon gauging by past trends. That said,

Effective Thursday:

40 C

20 S

40 I

I hope I'm not a day late or too many short...:D

I'm getting quite tired of these forumerrors... now I have to re-type.:P

AS I WAS SAYING
:zz

This jump in (I)happened rather TOO soon!!!:D But we knew it was right around the corner, so we had to take the plunge or we would have found ourselves side-lined.

I may have been a day late (I had the feeling that I would be, especially after taking the time to digest the past trends), but I'm IN and that's what matters the most to me. I'd much rather be a day late, then a day short on a down day.

Will the (I) rally be sustained until the end of the week? I believe it has a good possiblity to because the foreign currencies are on the rebound. Plus, the (I) has much more ground to make up for.

Once I see the dollar beginning to gain strength, then I will pull out.

Until then, here's hoping for at least another 1% gain tomorrow and Friday!:^

Wow, the Nikkei is UPat 1.89%. Of course there are many more factors that affect the (I) than the Nikkei. Case in point, on 6 May the Nikkei closed UP @ 1.73%. But the (I) only gained .02 cents that day. It's funny like that at times.

But if the Nikkei is UP, then the rest of the foreign markets usually follow.

Gotta keep an eye on tickers EFA & EFV tomorrow. If both are UP, then we are almost guaranteed a GREEN day for (I). But if one is UP and the other is down, it's really hard to tell what the end result will be. There have been days when the EFA (EAFE) has been UP, but the (I) didn't gain squat, and actuallylost some. Again, it's funny like that because we're a day behind.

Let's Roll...:^

BD....I Don't know Ur position. But, I'm close to retirement also. The I-fund is the most risky fund in TSP. It has a double bladed sord: market and dollar.

This market is very skiddish since January. I'm a tradder and enjoy the asks, and buys.......Ups and downs......this and that! Etc.!

BD....If U ain't with me. Go 100% G-fund, and keep what U got! Your retirement $ is too important to risk!

Rgds, and be careful! :) Spaf
