I day traded the following today:

Bought AI @ 15.25 (3 minutes after market open) and then sold @ 16.65 (30 minutes after market open) for a gain of +9.14%.
Then I bought it again @ 16.55, and went long.

I bought the following today:

Bought IONQ @ 14.22.

Bought NVDA @ 182.97.

Bought AMC @ 3.07.

God Bless! 🙂

I bought the following today:

TSLL @ 13.09.

SG @ 9.59.

I sold the following today:

AMC @ 3.07 for a gain of +1.30%.

God Bless! 🙂

I bought the following today:

CAVA @ 70.23.

I speculated on the BLSH IPO with a rather high entry of 109.09. If it doesn't soon recover, I will be averaging down on it.

BTW, my UNH position is finally in the green. I was down over 20% on it two Fridays ago.

Once again, unless the company is going bankrupt, there is no need to sell at a significant loss. Just wait it out, averaging down when it makes sense to do so.

God Bless! 🙂

Berkshire Hathaway announced today that it had purchased 5 millions shares of UNH last quarter. A stake that was worth about $1.6 billion at the time.
Currently, UNH is up over +10% in after hours. 🤘 🤘

My position is now up +11.25%, and growing.

Patience indeed pays.

God Bless! :)

Just a reminder...

For those who may not know me, I joined TSP Talk in Jun 2004- within 5 months of its launch. I became a moderator shortly thereafter. I "retired" from that some time ago. A few years ago, I rolled over my military TSP into an IRA so I could have greater control of it, not to mention "limitless" investment options.

Technically, I still have a TSP account, but it is a civilian TSP- where I worked for only a few months in 2019. Therefore, its balance is quite low. I've kept it parked in "C" the entire time, and have not made any IFTs. Its YTD is that of the C Fund, itself- +10.78%.

It's been nice having unlimited control over my investments. I've done quite well since rolling over my military TSP into an IRA.

I want to publicly thank Tom for allowing me to continue my "Account Talk" with my trades/investments outside of the TSP. One thing is for certain, it has kept me active again on the forums. There aren't many of us TSP Talk "OG"'s still around. I'm talking about those folks who joined in 2004.
We've certainly witnessed and navigated a ton of ups and downs that Mr. Market threw at us the past 21+ years! And man, I've learned a lot!

LORD willing, I will have another 20+ years navigating Mr. Market.

God Bless! :)

It's nice to have you back as a regular, Rod. I've enjoyed your posts!

You made me curious, so here is the short list of forum members who registered back during our first year in 2004, and are still signing in (or have this year.)
