Rod's Account Talk

Why did UNH drop?

In addition to the CEO's murder, as Tom mentioned, there were also some billing discrepancies/denial of care across numerous healthcare facilities. With its size/scope, I figured it will recover in due time. It's a small gamble on my part. My intention was to hold it long-term, but with its recent action I decided to swing trade it until it breaks through resistance.

It's nice to see my AMC speculative position finally rocketing due to an upgrade by Wedbush with a 4.00 price target. Last week, I was down around 16%. My position is currently down around 4%. I may finally break even today. I'm in with a 3.51 cost basis.

God Bless! :)

Sold the rest of my AMC position @ 3.55 for a gain of +1.20%.

Total return on this speculative position: +2.05%.

Last month I was down over 14% on it. Patience pays.

God Bless! :)

Bought more SQQQ @ 18.26 for a cost basis of 18.91.

Bought more SPXU @ 15.87 for a cost basis of 16.27.

God Bless! :)

Update:

Please note: I'm posting this so you can witness how I routinely dig myself out of holes and then sell for a profit... no matter how long I may hold onto a position. Patience (and not panic) is key!
