Markets are still choppy, so direction is... well, choppy.

J-Trader went to the sidelines today, pushing the signal to exactly a buy, so maybe there is some upside today, but maybe not. Only time and the big money investors know (ok, maybe Big Ben too).

I may have to figure out why we had a sell yesterday or change the function from round() to int() on the signal... oh well

Well, your chart is a great place to aggregate all the information into one place. You already provide the tracker position for some of the members. For instance, right now jken is leading the pack at #101. How does his system compare to all the other systems on your chart? Is his system performing best so far this year? We can't know unless there is some quantifyable way to measure it. The easiest way to do that is with a percent gain (loss) calculation.

RMI, what you're doing is already above and beyond the call of good service to all of us. If this suggestion would place a burden on your time, then please, don't do it. It's just a suggestion for improvement.

I just figured out this morning that some of the numbers refer to the AutoTracker position!

Can someone direct me to an explanation of the chart? I don't understand some of the terms ... short, long, buy-hold, etc.

Interesting that the 7Sentinals just sent to a sell after, what 2 months or so... uh, wow. On the same day, J-Trader goes to a sell; again, interesting.

System is back to a sell, but barely like today's buy. Now what? Long term mixed, medium term mixed, short term mixed... gotta love it.

Well, probably going up, Up, UP !! SPX-1400 or Bust !!
 
Am I imagining things or does this chart keep getting Bigger and Bigger and Bigger? Good Job.
 
Crazy how this stuff works. Based off of the strong seasonality chart in Tom's commentary and how much I enjoyed starting the month invested like this month I will most likely be jumping back in before March to use my last IFT and be in for the start of a new month. Looking forward to seeing how tomorrow turns out...

Signal is borderline, so no definite directing either way... I have no idea, but the next week or so is going to be very telling.

I know what you mean MaSTA. There is statistical evidence that shows the last few days of the month, and the first few days of the month are typically stronger than the rest of the days in the month. Also looking at Tom's seasonalilty chart, you can see that the last trading day of Feb looks extremely strong. So, you may be on to something there....

Yeah I meant to make my post refer to the end of the month on the seasonality chart (not the entire month), but it seems you all caught onto what I was trying to say lol. I just feel with us being limited on IFTs we have to try getting as much as we can out of them. With the extra move you get from starting a month invested it can possibly allow you to make a bit of money. You may get slapped around for getting back in before the end of the month, but hopefully having that extra move during the month will make up for it. I am hoping we see a good buy signal that triggers us to move back in instead of going back for the sole purpose of starting the month invested.

Bet that changes by tomorrow with this cold front pushing through. Here on the North Coast highs in the 40's and dropping into the 20's tonight with wind gusts predicted up to 60 MPH.

Hey PO, we can share this moment again in August when the North Coast low humidity and 83 degrees. :rolleyes: But really this winter has't been that bad here so far. Sure hope you guys don't see anymore of those dust storms.

THis is a welcome change here in GA, the last two years winter was hell, unusually cold for down here.
