Well kinda..but not quite. Although I have nothing against unicorns and I would be happy with anything. I think in Burro's ark it was suggested I be a Unicorn fish (something nautical) . I'm glad it wasn't picked because I was hoping it was cute. I checked it out and had to laugh my head off...looks like a big flat fish with a male appendage sticking out from his forehead!!. Funny lookin thang!!!:toung:

The reason for unicorn was that I missed the boat cuz I was snoozing and supposedly the unicorn did too! :suspicious:

I actually like shiny or colorful things ....just like a bird. I like prisms, stars, crystals, opals, mood rings, gems, plus cardinals and "hearts", sailboats, sunsets, Marilyn Monroe, Gone with the Wind, Phantom of the Opera, Yosemite and anything having to do with the "sea"..like shells or wind chimes made with capris or regular shells. I Love star gazing..with or without a telescope...so stars or galaxies (i.e.Hubble pics) are very cool, and the colors pink, purple and blue in that order. If something has all three colors..well lets just say that is "icing" on the cake!! Not sure that helps much, but if I win you choose. :laugh: So...do we have a bet?????

Didn't Heart do a song called Barracuda? Perhaps that's why. If it was up to me, I would have called you an angel fish, but then what do I know. I'm a sucker for sweet, kind and benevolent ladies...

Crunched the numbers last night on my investment strategy and came up with the following conclusions.

F Fund - I'm not currently invested in the F Fund. Price is currently moving up, so if you've got it, you're making some coin. It appears there is still room to grow as we have yet to break the upper bollenger band. RSI is at 55.50, so no sell signal yet.

C Fund - I'm currently invested 25% in the C Fund. Current price is below the 20 DMA and moving lower. I would be a buyer if we closed in the 1840 area. I'm out of IFT's for March, so will have to wait until April. If current trend continues, I'll have a better opportunity for profit.

S Fund - I'm currently invested 10% in the S Fund. How I wish I had another IFT because my strategy has issued a buy signal. Current price has fallen below the lower bollenger band and slow stoch is indicating oversold. I'll be all over this come April 1st.

I Fund - I am currently invested 15% in the I Fund. The I Fund has certainly kept me treading water the last few days as it has become a hedge against the losses put up by the C and S Funds. My strategy issues a hold on this fund as there is still plenty of room to grow.

So that's where I'm at this morning. Hope this info is of some use in your trading decisions. As a reminder, these are my opinions, not trading recommendations.

Spreading out seems the best way right now. S fund self imploded over last week, so I'm pretty much where I started when I jumped in. I decided to spread out amongst the other funds, since I believe the market volatility will continue for the forseeable future.

I see you are 100% S Fund. Although being spread out has helped me to minimize losses this week, you my friend are in a great position. The S Fund may drop a little more and you will take a hit in your bottom line, but eventually it will turn. When it does, you'll make a killing. Hang in there and good luck.

Team is looking real good and expectations are high. Of course the same can be said for every major league team on opening day. It's time to hunt and Red Sox are back on the menu!!!

Changed my allocation to 100% S Fund, effective COB 4/1/14. As stated previously, I would have been a buyer at 1007.95 on 28 Mar, but was out of IFT's. There is still plenty of room to grow, so I'm onboard. Besides I've got some ground to make up on Dreamboat Annie. She's thrown down the gauntlet and it's time to hunt. :nuts:

Well the S&P 500 hit a new high of 1890.90 on 2 April. As expected the naysayers were in full swing again. It seems to me that every time the markets make a new high, I read stories and hear commentary that doomsday is around the corner and a market crash is pending. That thinking has cost me in the past as I would move to the safety of the G Fund. I still believe April is going to be a very good month so I will remain 100% in the S Fund.

Besides, I've got a running bet with Dreamboat Annie on which of us will finish 2014 higher on the AT. At present she is kicking my butt and I can't make any coin sitting on the sidelines.

Thanks TSP-roulette. DBA definately has the upper hand at this point but as you say, still a long ways to go. Meanwhile I'll just lull her into a false sense of security. If nothing else, the competition is fun.
