Mr. cobain was just a brilliant mind that couldn't learn to like itself. That's ok. The world needs folks like that. Not everybody is perfect you know. Although he could have picked a better love. Sometimes late at night she gets more attractive to me.

Just got back from the Verizon store where we got the wife her first ever "new every two" upgrade. She's been eligible since ought seven but there is no sense rushing things.

The rules have changed since then so the free upgrade was about $170. Including car charger, memory chip, insurance and a pretty pink cover.

Before any of you offer suggestions about changing carrier, useless insurance et. al.; keeping the customer satisfied has it's price.

She is going on a trip Monday and late Friday night informed me her seven year old phone she never uses would no longer hold a charge. No on line upgrade for her.

The main reason for mentioning this is that when I got home and went to this message board, all the ads were about Verizon upgrades.

Yup, all of it. Otherwise it would have been 200+. I did get a $50 mail in rebate.

It sure did come with some bizarre ring tones. The default is guaranteed to get you on someone's annoy list.

Problem is I just want phone service. I'll pay extra for the few text messages I send or receive. I do not want internet access. I am a troglodyte. I wish I could shut off the data capability.

Some time last month while crawling around in some ceiling or floor I somehow unlocked my phone and it started surfing. That will teach me to just leave it in my POV.

It is mine not theirs but they do want me to have it in case they want to call about something.

I guess that's why I get that discount?

Time to go. I like eight hours of sleep.
