this would suggest a s&p 500 close of about 820 today...about a 50 point decline from yesterday's close.

At Market levels we are closer to 7500 than 9000 being at currently 8200.
Hold on to your straps because honestly the lower we go the higher the
Volatility. It will be a Wild Ride. I say don't be a Chicken Here.

I opted to wait one more day. Got a sell signal today, but today's carnage may complete the sell. Too early to say and you already mentioned we could move down a little more here. I'm inclined to think Friday or Monday may be the turn.

I'm thinking the same thing except monday I believe is MLK day and the market will be closed, so any venture into stocks on Friday will have to take the ride 'til Wednesday. I'm tryin' to pick my spot as well CH.

Obama New's to start Late Friday into Monday.
It's a play for me. Markets need to Tank Today....

Oops! I'd thought next week was OPEX. I'm slowly getting back to the market.
The currencies suggests a bounce is near. We might have seen the low of the day.
I'm thinking about making a move tomorrow to be in the I fund for Friday.

Sounds like you're trying to convince yourself?!? Kinda like me in a casino?!?!? Heh heh. I hope you are right!! If so, I'll get in tomorrow for Friday and maybe Tuesday to ride 'er up a little on the bounce. Futures are all down fairly significantly at this minute, but who can tell what the morning brings. Overall, even though we've had a number of down days....it still don't look good....we just keep breaking support levels. I hope to see the turnaround and maybe catch a little of the "up", if I play it right.....or wait for the big down before the months over and then get in and catch the ride way back up.....oooohhh, I hope so. I've only got one more IFT move.....didn't play it right at the change of the month. Dumb TSP IFT rules!!!!!!!

I'm staying put. I said yesterday that today could be a down day. This will
be Day 6 to the downside. The further we go down, Volatility will increase
and get scary. I like to take a walk and get away from it once in awhile.
We are down 1000 points on the DJIA in the last week.
My suggestion to people that don't have the stomach for this. If you
think we are going to break the lowes then get out. I don't believe we
will and also think Rally time is coming.
To put it another way if you have used all you IFT'S then ask yourself
this question. By January 30 do you think we will have the opportunity to
get out higher than DJIA 8000 or for me Russell 2000 ?
