Poolman's Account Talk

Although I agree on principle with the Bearish PSAadmin, I have to wonder what he's doing while he's waiting for the market to fail? Seriously, we all have to make money and sitting out this last leg-up because we don't agree with the market has been a costly mistake for many.

A trader can increase his odds of being right, but the market is always right regardless of the outcome.

I admit I like PSAadmin, he's got moxy for being one of the few bears left in the world. Thing is he's digging himself into a trench and I believe his thinking has some flaws. For one thing, he's been going on about the NASDAQ and how gappy it is. He even pointed out a post some guy made in his forum showing how 97% of the S&P 500's gaps get filled, and used that logic to backup his statement.

But the S&P 500 & NASDAQ are two different indexes that behave differently. By nature the NASDAQ has been the gappyest of the two. Just to be fair, I do believe the odds are in his favor on this issue, but that doesn't mean he's going to be right.

As a small example, circled in yellow are 3 NASDAQ gaps off the march 2009 bottom that never got filled. Thanks PM I do enjoy you posting these videos. :)
