I don't know as of right now turbo23dog. I'm not sure if we are making a breakout yet to our next level of resistance which I believe is to 1076 S&P. I don't feel the risk/reward level is there right now to jump in. I feel that we need a small correction to move ahead with conviction. In fact this whole rally has been on very low volume. We know that news drives these markets an everything that has been coming out has been pretty good. I feel that one scary/bad news release that comes out we could get a easy 300 point dive.

I really don't trust this whole market advance. Some kind of Bubble is being created all the time. I'm looking for that bubble popping to be my entry point. Hope this helps.

It just seems to me that all the folks on the MB with less than 10% gain this year are the cautious ones. I freely admint that I might be a bit swayed by Birchtree's continous cheerleading though.

This is what scares me. The Markets have come back a long way since last October. 50% Infact but when do we start dealing with this ? Or are we ?

We Really don't have a choice at the Conclusion.

Anyone else think the Fed/Treasury are leveraged and hedged against the falling dollar? They knew it was coming, everyone knew it was coming. Even Japan hedged itself during the yen carry trade... you don't think the US is? Do you think they'd advertise it?

regarding debt already clearing up a little... per Geithner's townhall:

"The bailouts for what he called systemically important companies have worked out well so far, at least in terms of return on investment. Of the $200 billion the government has pumped in from a variety of liquidity programs, it has seen a return of $80 billion so far.

"That money goes to reduce how much we have to borrow and it means that we have more resources available to do the necessary things our country needs," he said. "We're getting a pretty good return on those investments so far."

Very good post tonite P-man.
I don't buy into the "sky is falling" video. Not just our government but every nation that does business with us would know this also. I am okay with math but not on that level, but if true do you know how many people out there are smart enough to figure that out also. I woul put a bet on more than a handful.
