NEW YORK (AP) — The price of oil fell after the death of Libyan dictator Moammar Gadhafi, although it should take months for Libya's oil industry to recover and for the full impact to be felt on world markets.
Oil fell $1.08 to $85.03 per barrel in New York on Thursday. At the pump, the price of gasoline was flat at about $3.47 a gallon.

It's always possible for a failure of some kind...But I can tell you from what I've been learning about the oil drilling business, is that tremendous safeguards have been implemented and or improved upon...So God willing, we may not have such a major mistake, as BP had last year.

Great I need to get gas after work today. On the way in this morning it was around $3.22/gal. Sure hope it doesn't jump up this afternoon. I have a 32 gallon tank.
