Hey, maybe Big Ben will start buying/selling oil futures to lower the price of oil?

I mean, it can't be any more risky than buying MBS (which is only helping the banks) and treasuries (which isn't helping inflation or the treasury rate)...

We are rolling down a hill headed for a cliff, FED Ben doesn't know how to stop what he started.

GREAT, maybe gas prices will continue up and we can get to the beloved goal of $8 !!

Then, maybe we can finally get people out of their gas guzzling, environment polluting SUVs and into public transportation !!
It's all about control. Make the people dependent on you and you can get them to do whatever you want. It's the thug, drug dealer mentality.

Some may think that it is safer to transport Crude by pipelines under the ground instead of Truck and Train.
Several people reported missing after train carrying crude oil derails in Quebec sparking explosions

Published July 06, 2013Associated Press

I think this is oil slick related. If not then nnuut will move/remove it.

WARNING: Things that interest PO may cause excessive drowsiness in others.

If anyone is following this it's getting more complicated all the time. Single train operator in a control car, unattended idling train parked on a hill above Lac-Mégantic, engine fire and subsequent shut down of the idling locomotive by first responders, possible pressurized tanks cars of propane or LPG parked on a siding in town, train ran away down hill unattended and derailed. Boom! That pretty much sums up the rumors so far.

TSB of Canada has released that so far they know the unattended train, locomotive fire and runaway are fact. News reports state 50-60 people are still missing and one of the last reports I read says 24 confirmed dead.

The train was en route from an oil terminal in ND to Saint John, New Brunswick. It was handed to MM&A in Quebec for delivery to Brownville ME.

Maybe less loss of life nnuut. Big city rail seems to run through now industrial areas. This one ran right through a town and by a local watering hole where they were celebrating the weekend.

Either way, a tragedy and possible set back for rail shipments of crude oil.
