The spread between WTI and Brent is only $3 now. What a difference a year makes!

Looking at the last 3 year, one could make a lot of money shorting WTI when it hits $105. Usually comes back down to $85ish within a few months.

The spread is usually about $9 or $10 bucks, this can't be good for Gas prices.

of course we will get to $8 petro, that's the only way $7.99 solar makes sense.

an energy unit will always cost the equivalent of an energy unit. which will always be just enough to hurt you but not enough to break you. that's how 'they' get rich and 'we' stay poor. there is big money to be made closing that gap. get with the program, they've been telegraphing that play since al gore invented the internet.
