Exactly, my severe dyslexia has won again!!:blink:
Now, just why do you think the English pays so much more for gas than we do? What are they funding?:cool:

They pay for their war upfront instead of handing the bill to another generation.

You're joking with me right, come on and tell the truth, I know you believe in the truth let it out it will set you free.:)

No, I'm not joking.

That's pennies compared to United States war costs, which are now estimated at well over $3 TRILLION dollars, when you take the veterans benefits for the 100,000 U.S. casualties into account into the future.

Here is testimony from a House hearing in September this year, talking about the true cost of war for the United States:

The War, that's just a small part of it.
Excuse me but I'm not talking about the USA! It's the costs of energy in the United Kingdom, thanks.

That's what I mean.

If we payed for the REAL cost of oil, we wouldn't be paying $3 a gallon for gasoline. We'd be paying a whole lot more. If you throw in the cost for the military to keep the sea lanes open, and the cost of the two wars we have going on to keep the oil flowing (Iraq and Afghanistan both are, in large part, efforts to keep the oil flowing), then OUR cost would be closer to $7 a gallon.

That's what we need to do. Levy a war-tax on gasoline like the British, make it $7 a gallon, and pay for the true costs of keeping the oil flowing.

Man Jim you're really out there aren't you? You know what I was getting at, just forget it.

By Nick Godt, MarketWatch

NEW YORK (MarketWatch) — Crude-oil futures fell slightly, as investors stayed cautious ahead of the Federal Reserve’s statement on monetary policy due later Tuesday.
The crude contract had risen earlier, gaining support from cold weather gripping parts in the U.S. and as government reports on retail sales and wholesale prices last month came in stronger than forecast.http://markets.usatoday.com/custom/...-11E0-B8A9-00212804637C}&loc=interstitialskip

By Steve Gelsi, MarketWatch

NEW YORK (MarketWatch) -- Commodities cooled off on Wednesday as equities fell back and tame inflation data let the air out of gold and oil futures.
With the consumer price index ticking up a modest 0.1% in November -- the smallest change since June -- sentiment shifted away from gold and crude oil and into the greenback. Read more on inflation data.http://markets.usatoday.com/custom/...S&guid={452EB062-0853-11E0-B8A9-00212804637C}
