Not to be a jerk about this but who took the largest hits this week?

I'm proud to say around $22.6K was my pain level - it's worse than that from the October 9th highs. But I did collect a sweet C fund DCA. To me this amount is totally tolerable. Hit me with your best shot, fire away.

I actually gained this week. (Been sitting in G all week long. :))

A hard drink is definitely warranted.

Thank goodness the week is over....

Have you ever rode a 400 point up day - I have on several occasions. I think there is something big getting ready to happen with all this gloom and doom around - it'll be totally unexpected if we accelerate upwards. Somebody will leak something on the weekend talk shows about supporting the dollar and away we go.

I'm not even gonna figure it up....Anybody know the number to the suicide watch help line?:D
A guy was feeling depressed over the drop in the market, so he called the mental health help line. Like all other call centers, it has been out- sourced to a third world location.

When he told the operator in Pakistan that he was feeling suicidal, the operator got very excited and wanted to know if he could drive a truck or fly a plane.:D

Ditto, ditto, ditto!!! You will see another rate cut.

Might as well jump in, since misery loves company. Over $7K this past week. If left a big mark. :D

I'll avow my lack of prudence which dropped me more than 5% in the last couple of weeks while on and playing catch-up from vacation. I could have bought a new car with what I lost. 10 times what I spent on vacation. And I'm retired and have been relatively conservative all year. :) That's what you get when you spend your time in deserts and caverns instead of glued to market news and tickers. ;) Might be a fated punishment for me since I missed the betting the Breeder's Cup races while traveling. But I came from poverty and I've had my share of ups and downs. Humility is invigorating!!! Trust me, you will survive just as happily without one dime of your TSP when you retire, that is if you actually enjoy all life entails. The older you get the less you need. One of these days I'll expostulate on that. Fact is that most of us are saving so our offspring can **** it all away. :D

Well stated...and, I resemble those remarks!:D
