NO TSP DEPOSITS TODAY! The entire board should be fired tomorrow!

So I have had a monthly withdrawal since April of 2020. Today is the day for that deposit since our great TSP board switched it to one date! Guess what nothing was taken from my account and no deposit. Did anyone get their monthly withdrawals? Or am I just the lucky one. Of course I cant even set it up as I have no taxes taken out and the system will not allow that or even let me reset it up. All TSP board members and managers should be fired if none of us received payments. Hell has no fury like a government retired employee not being paid!

Are they serious this needs to be fixed tomorrow some of us do pay our bills with this belated withdrawal now on the 15th that never came or shares sold to pay it. This is beyond ok. Pack your crap and just leave when this is over you don’t deserve your job. All systems have bugs but this was not ready to be implemented and needed a lot more testing first. It’s a disaster and I am a fairly calm person but who did they hire bozo the clown!

Check your TSP account now, and your bank account tomorrow.

I just got an email at 10:22 pm that my monthly payment has been made. It always shows up in my bank account the next day, so I'll have it tomorrow.

What's really irritating to me is that the email I just got from TSP says "Your monies will be issued on June 17th".
That means at the soonest it will get to the bank on the next business day, and because of the new Juneteenth holiday that will be Tuesday the 20th.
When I retired I was very careful to time my monthly TSP payments so that I'd get them on the first business day each month. Now it will be after mid-month, not what I want.
The reasons for me to roll over my TSP to an IRA just keep piling up.
Honestly, the G fund is now the only reason I don't. It's a nice place to park now that rates are rising. Getting around 3.4%/year currently in G, that's getting close to covering my withdrawals, so I have no need to gamble in the stock funds.

Hmm, just a thought though...with rates in the U.S. now high relative to most other countries, and becoming attractive relative to stocks...will money now come flooding into the bond market and drive rates back down?

Do payments go in today for monthly payments? I set up online or I thought I did a couple of weeks ago a monthly payment but I don’t see it in my bank this morning. I can’t see any record of it being set up but I got my spouse to docusign etc.

Nope, nothing here. Last month it didn't hit my account until the 19th? Why is their a delay? It showed up like clockwork before this garbage of a system was rolled out. Good grief.

Thanks Geaux4it. I’ll stand by I guess. I don’t understand why when we set it up I didn’t get some kind of confirmation it was completed by email or something.

They can earn three or four days of interest to pay for the help they need to solve their lack of technical expertise to do the job as lowest bidder it's always the fact the lowest bid is selected by the government then cost overruns that go above the highest bidder's cost. :(

No deposit yet but when we get our statement it will show they took out and distributed the amount on the 15th like promised.

I'm still very dissatisfied with the monthly payment schedules. TSP notice indicates I have to wait until the 20th of the this month for payment. Their new payment dates of the 15th is a joke when it's on a Sat. Why does it take so long for the process to transpire? Why not move the payment date fwd when a weekend is involved? And are they planning on fixing this issue? I used to get paid on the 12th of the month and it was predictable. Having to wait 5 days for my money is unacceptable. Will likely move my funds elsewhere.

Ever since they made everyone get paid the same day seems to have caused delays making them millions on the two-to-three-day delay while the money sits in their hands after the withdrawal from TSP JMO :suspicious:
