NEW YORK (CNNMoney.com) -- U.S. sales at Ford Motor and DaimlerChrysler fell from year-ago levels in March, the companies reported Tuesday, although the slide was less than expected as both troubled U.S. automakers rebounded from weak February sales.
Ford (Charts) reported a 9 percent decline in sales to 264,975 vehicles. But the company had warned last week that it was looking a double-digit declines from what had been its best sales month of 2006, and sales tracker Edmunds.com had forecast a 17 percent drop in sales for the nation's No. 2 automaker. Well, here we go again Iran is setting free the British solders and Oil is dropping big time, this was supposed to happen Monday, at least that was my plan. Was 50% "C" and "S" Monday but jumped to the Lilly pad for safety and missed the rally!! I'm NOT HAPPY!!!:mad: What the heck is wrong with YAHOO, slow as Xmas today?

Economic pressure, Oil inventories out the bottom of the chart! Play it safe for awhile.

100% "I" COB Today. Dollar dropping bigtime today. I think Payroll numbers may be lower than expected tomorrow. Other stuff:D

If by chance I change my allocation tomorrow, which one would go into effect? The one for today at noon or the one at noon tomorrow?:D

Looks like the TSP is closed tomorrow so the one you do today can't be changed until Monday COB!:D

Does this mean that an IFT done today before 12:00 Eastern time will be on play during Mondays trading, but that its profit or loss calculations will not be done until Monday closing prices?:)

Sponsor... I called the TSP site yesterday and ask specifically if did an IFT on Friday, 6 April, before 12 Noon EDST, would it be in effect for Monday's trading. They told me YES! :embarrest:

TSP.gov is closed Friday, April 6th, so any fund transfer you make between now and 12:00 pm EDT Monday will be processed at COB Monday, April 9. Here is the notice displayed at TSP.gov when you start to enter your account.

Special Notice for April 6: Because some of the stock and bond markets will be closed Friday, April 6, we will not be updating share prices in any of the TSP funds for that day. Consequently, transactions will not be processed until the following business day (that is Monday, April 9).​

I guess this answered everyones questions. IFT done after COB today will be processed at COB Monday.:cool:

Guys... Just to make ABSOLUTELY sure, I called the TSP hotline again. I asked specifically about IFT's being done before noon tomorrow. Again, they told me that it would be in effect for Monday's trading. I don't know what else to say, except maybe call 1-877-968-3778 and ask them yourself!

Calm down, what difference does one day make in the realm of all things considered? If you aren't in by now, just kiss your gain for Monday bye.
