nnuut's Account Talk

Re: Nnuut's Account Talk

Daylight Savings Time, don't Ya just love it?(

Nnuut,

My dog hates it. We don't wake up when we are suppose to. Chow is an hour late. And we don't go to bed when we are suppose to!.....

It means my honey-do-list takes longer to do!.....

Besides, when we save time, where does it go?.....

Re: Nnuut's Account Talk

Can we add time to our TSP account and gain some compound interest on it?

I don't know! But it seems to me that you have to work more to save the same thing. Maybe Nnuut has a better handle on this. Besides he started the remark!....:D

Lets move over to Eat and Do in OKC......OK!

Re: Nnuut's Account Talk

Yes, it disrupts my day. I really don't think it's needed. As far as the TSP accounts gaining more interest due to DST? Don't think so this time we lost an hour, maybe they will take away a little cash?
Another thing, an article on CNN home page this morning thinks gas prices will go up because more day light means more people driving. That is really lame, DST is used to save energy, I thought?

Average gasoline price rises 20 cents

Demand could rise further as daylight saving time means more driving time.

Re: Nnuut's Account Talk

True. But that rocky road is well-travelled today. Personally I prefer to leave the rocky road while I'm here in G and go fishing. Recreation makes the time in G go faster. :D

Plus I'll take a rocky road slowly going up to a fall down the side of a rocky mountain on a stock chart. Now that stings! :cheesy:

Re: Nnuut's Account Talk

Yeah, it's tough when you see nice gains that you could have been in on, but that's price you pay when you come up with a plan and stick with it. I think there may be a 3rd phase to this down turn, which could be another big dip or a smaller one, I don't know? I'm still in the top ten for now and I like it there, seems like every time I jump in for a bounce it dives toward the baseline. If I see a real trend to the upside I'll jump right in, both feet, but for now I'm stickin' to my guns. Rata Tat Tat!

Re: Nnuut's Account Talk

I definitely agree with sticking to a plan that is working. It seems to me that we're due for a pullback as well (although my thoughts are based on reading blogs and the thoughts of the wiser people on this forum), but I also couldn't tell u if it will be a few percent downturn or an 8% downturn.

Does someone have a reliable map for this downturn part of the stock market ride? :cheesy:

Yes! You Sooth Sayers, Magicians, Wizards, come forth and enlighten the unknowing, miserable masses! please!:o

Re: Nnuut's Account Talk

Might be a fight today to break resistance. Actually the "C" probably should be the one to look at first and it has farther to go before reaching the 50 day. Guess we will just have to wait and see?

Re: Nnuut's Account Talk

After a 3% or greater decline, the market is up 67% of the time one month later, up 90% of the time six months later. The total put/call ratio on 3/9 was at 115.8 and the total 15 DMA on 3/9 was 121.5. Very bullish from a contrarian perspective.

Re: Nnuut's Account Talk

In other words you are pretty sure the "C" will rebound sooner ar later? I imagine that is true? Just get right and sit tight, right?:D

Re: Nnuut's Account Talk

I know as viewed by the majority of the MB it's the ignominous approach. But I let my DCA strategy do my bunny hopping. This market is coiled and primed for much better days - and probably soon.

Re: Nnuut's Account Talk

Well, I believe it's still in the coiling mode so IFT to the "F" for one day and 100% "G" for the penny Thursday, if everything goes the way I think it will, which is down.
