nnuut's Account Talk

Re: Nnuut's Account Talk

Damn, yesterday I made an IFT from 60S & 40I to 100% G. But I got out of a meeting too late & submitted it at 12:01. Just love those nosedives....

Re: Nnuut's Account Talk

F fund is looking like a much better lilly pad these days... :)

Any guesses on how far itll drop?
Don't have a "REAL IDEA", but if it reacts like similar corrections in the past it will drop below the 200 Day Moving Average, maybe. That is a long way down. Look at the charts. :(

Re: Nnuut's Account Talk

It looks ~1366 for the SP500. Given how sharp the action was today, that may not be too far off. Depending on how strong/weak the inflation indicators come back this week...

Damit LTB that's happened to me before!! One time I submitted an IFT out of the "G", kept a copy and it didn't go through. Market shot up like a rocket. I called them and explained that I lost a lot of money and wanted it back! They said they didn't guarantee IFTs would be effective the COB of business the day they were made, but within 2 business days!!! It happened a day late and I caught the market on the DOWN SIDE, double trouble!! RAT FINKS!

OH! Did you mean today? No se amigo? Don't know, but if it ends in an uninterupted dive it's not a good sign.:worried:

Re: Nnuut's Account Talk

I hope its not today... That would be officially "A Bad Thing." :) Its definately within the realm of happening for the next 5-7 trading days though.

Re: Nnuut's Account Talk

And there is a good (or bad) possibility it will continue on it's way down tomorrow. Check history, corrections similar to this have almost always passed below the 200 Day Moving Average. Markets went up big time starting in July last year, so it's alot farther to that 200 DMA now. It may not happen this time, but there is a big chance that it will. I don't think I will take that chance. I'll be back in when there is a positive trend established or at least started, JMHO.

Re: Nnuut's Account Talk

100% "G" Fund Cob today. Lots of stuff on the calander for tomorrow and Friday. Agreeably there may be a bounce in the "I" fund tomorrow, or the "C" and "S". I really don't think the risk is worth it so here I sit!:suspicious:

Re: Nnuut's Account Talk

Boy, it sure is tempting to try that "I" fund bounce!! The last time I did it turned around and bit me for -.93% BBBBBAHHhhhhhhhhhh! Not again,,,,today!

Re: Nnuut's Account Talk

Not that you care, But I think one more day for the bounce for I fund .I still think we are headed to 200 moving avg

Re: Nnuut's Account Talk

Good question!
As Show-me asked "Which is better? Being out and wishing you were in or being in wishing you were out.;)"

Kind of the same thing, right?

1. Ok, if you are in and lose 2%, you would wish you were out, because it would take 4% to get even, where you are +4%.
2. If you were out and missed a 2% gain, you would wish you were in, but it would only take 2% to get even, where you are +2%.

So it's better to be out and wishing you were in, by 50%.
So there!
