Yeah, this is a Sissy Hurricane, still raining, wind gusts at around 20 MPH. A walk in the park for us. The Left side of a storm is where you want to be. Not like politics!!!!

Hurricane downgraded to a tropical storm, so you should be ok. Should be arriving here in Maryland sometime on Saturday and it looks like we will just get the outer bands. So just some rain and a little wind for us. No big deal...:1244:

Not only that, it's going down the same amount as the stock funds. When it goes up it only does so at a fraction of those funds. What's up with that?

It's a mystery. normally if stocks go down the "F" goes UP, unless the FED outlook, or politics, or or or and tells investors not to get out of the Markets and ESCAPE to BONDS or some other hedge. Hell If I did know I could do better!

I think I kind of understand a little bit of it....our economy is believed to be "stabilizing" with our interest rates starting to climb and QE not being replenished with more central bank action. This is happening while other central banks are continuing to do QE. Combine this with the strength of the dollar (comparatively speaking) and smart money going to us or emerging markets (not much F fund equivalents there) and the Bond funds are being treated just like a commodity instead of a safe-haven like it should be.

I haven't been on line because I lost internet service Saturday night. Someone genius ran over the cable transmission box in front of my neighbor's house and cut my line. COX didn't have if fixed until about 30 minutes ago. My neighbor's house all but burnt down last Wednesday night, woke me up at 2 AM if the wind had changed it could have got my house but we were lucky. I've got some catching up to do.

Sorry got back late. We were there for my wife to get finger printed for her application for CITIZENSHIP!!!! She has been a Permanent Resident for 37 years and it's about time. Now we have to make the same trip two more times to finalize it. Next is for a written test and again the swearing in and pledging allegiance. The gas bill is big time but worth it. I wish she would have done it earlier then she could have voted for TRUMP!Tomorrow!
