In case someone doesn't know what the PPT is:
Plunge Protection Team"
One theory regarding the Working Group refers to it as the Plunge Protection Team. This theory claims that the Working Group is a scheme to manipulate U.S. stock markets in the event of a market crash by using government funds to buy stocks, or other instruments such as stock index futures.
The term "Plunge Protection Team" was originally the headline for an article in The Washington Post by staff writer Brett D. Fromson, published on Sunday, February 23, 1997.[2] He did not invent the term. It was added later by a copy desk editor as a sensational nickname for the Working Group.[3]

Today we had a nice up at the end of the day, AGAIN! I wouldn't count on the same thing happening tomorrow [look at the last 6 days], if it does I'm going to have to think about getting back in the Markets, because I think we should see a BIG bounce to the 200 MA when it does bounce. Today isn't real, it's a head fake, it is within the same range as yesterday's down, so the down trend is still in place. If we do continue todays up trend tomorrow, which I doubt, if it breaks the top of the downtrend channel, this may be the time to get back in the Markets. With the Market subject to a last 15 minute of the day turnaround you never know where the day will end up. If we break the top of the channel in the S&P at about 1435 I will probably go for it. If we are below that I'm still in CP!! It's GOOD for ME, Like vitamins!!:D

I would be amazed if tommorrow was an up day, and more uncertain than I am now as to what to do in the short term. Interestingly, the OSM were up early and now down even on a solid US rally today. Too much news tommorrow and the rest of the week for me and the technicals of the market simply say that we don't know until it happens, but the general trend is down, not up, as far as I am able to evaluate. Wednesday is critical for any short term evaluation.

You said it Reactive1, we are on the cusp of either a turnaround or a continued dive just below the August's low. Be careful the BOYS will head fake you just to sucker you in. Even if we get a rally above the current S&P channel, if it stutters just before the 200 DMA, I'm out. If we go above, I'm in.:worried:
Now listen, if something happens during this time you have to take that into consideration, nothing is ever 100%. Watch the indicators, Oil, economics, politics, everything, it all falls into play.
Norman:cool:

20% "G", 20% "F", 20% "C", 40% "S" COB Today.
Looks like a breakout to me, but makes me nervous that everyone is jumping on the Band Wagon. Today may be a big up day and leave tomorrow the short end of the stick. So I jumped in with 60% and left the rest in CP.
Probably is the turn around and I will be invested until it surprises me to the down side AGAIN!! I don't trust the "I" with the big +FV today, PROBABLY?
It's not over until the closing bell.
