Ok- it looks like my attempt at doing a partial withdrawal failed.

This note in my account says the payment failed, because the financial institution I have in the system has been processed in the system for less than seven days.

Meaning: the bank account I want to direct-deposit into is less than seven days active. Therefore: it cannot be used just yet. It just mature. Your choice must be to have them mail you a check.

Of course, the bank we are talking about is the one they send the once per month electronic direct deposit payment to now. They’ve had that account data carried over from the old system. But I guess the new system has been turned on less than 7 days, so the computer is saying EVERY bank account to deposit into is less than seven days old.

I am thinking that This should clear itself, but it will take 4 more days before it will age out. Then I will have to try again.

That 'Current Mix' percentage is very likely the allocation at the time of your most recent IFT.

Exactly how useful will that percentage be as time progresses.

My C-Fund should be 9.942% of my holdings. That is what both Quicken and Math ('C-Fund Current Market Value'/'Total Account Market Value') from the site tell me. If 'Current Mix' is rounding to the nearest 0.1 percent than it should show 9.9%. Man, I hope it isn't rounding to the full percent. And, I really hope it isn't just the allocation on the date of IFT. Maybe most people care less and just blah on, but I actually do care what my current allocation ratios are. I make decisions like rebalancing based on that.

Why show an allocation at the time of an IFT? What value is that? I mean, who cares? Yowser.

I find this 'new' set up kind of a disappointment as well. :(:(:(

I do not see ANYTHING of my history before May 2022. And I've been a participant since 2009. But this 'new' system update is not showing me anything between then and May 2022.

And getting hold of someone, after reading all the failure attempts in other participants - but I have serious forebodings going on in my brain about the efficacy of the TSP staff at this time.

Anyone else see their previous history, prior to this 'NEW' update...? :worried::worried::worried:

Or.... is it likely TSP is still working on tweaks and restoring data as time goes on. I had misgivings about a "NEW" account login - it should have picked up most of our data instead of us entering the 'same' data (mostly)....

I guess everyone needs to keep a close eye on their accounts. With this roll out failure on the new website let's hope it doesn't have ramifications to ones invested money.

Ok- today it now shows that I did, in fact, take a partial distribution. And the $35,000 is gone out of my account.

But it hasn’t shown up in my bank account yet. I will have to give it a day or two and see what turns up.

So far, every time I have identified failures if the software here, two days later the issue is repaired. I guess they must be watching what we are saying.

By the way- if you have an issue, please also post the BROWSER and version that you are using. It appears so far to me that DESKTOP with Google chrome is the best displaying version.

I’ve had issues with iPhone 12, running Safari . DESKTOP works better right now.

I have not been able to register after multiple tries even using two different browsers. After all the data entry the system hangs up on a screen that says something about "onboarding" for the web page ID. Also, was not able to get any help calling in. Calling in just added to the frustration after been placed on hold forever each time I tried. Any help, suggestions, etc. would be appreciated. To say the least, this has not been the rollout I had anticipated and

Some issues/bugs/observations:

Looks like they didnt port over account statements with the move. You can only request statements from May 26th through today. .

Yes - May 26th through June 3.
Fun, huh...?
Wellll...... we'll see, hopefully, at some point this week, some kind of better updating of previous content...

I really don’t think they intended to carry over past account from financial data. Their aren’t the right tools built in to do that.

I think what they have is what we get.

All history begins May 27th. Period.

I guess that May 27th is "The End of History" again!!!

:ban:

I have found the Share Price History is still at https://www.tsp.gov/fund-performance/share-price-history/.

At first there was nothing past May 26, 2022 which of course was the transition start date, and I thought they had finally updated that portion of the site when I found the data was up to June 3, 2022. I just noticed although the data now goes beyond May 26, there are dates missing in the table. May 27, May 31 are missing from the history.

I was wondering if anyone happens to know what the prices were at close for those dates.

Also I was able to import the share prices history into Excel with a Power Query but my link no longer is accepted. Has any one found way to import the share price history into Excel since the transition ?

I was out of town and out touch without internet for about 5 weeks which happen to include 2 on my monthly distributions (retired 5 years ago) and now there is no information of those 2 withdrawals because the transactions only go back to 5/26.

I have tried to call to get those transactions details but the hold time are well over 2 hours. Seems to me if they were going to wipe out all past data, they should have warned us to grab as much as we could on 5/25/22. This new site is a disaster in my opinion.

I want to report A SUCCESS!!

On June 1, I had difficulties creating my log on- but on June 2nd I was successful at getting in.

On June 2 I also was able (with great difficulty- it was not as simple as I expected ) to do an Interfund Transfer (now called reallocate funds).

As of June 6th, the change properly showed in my account data.

On June 2 I began requesting a partial one-time withdrawl. On June 3rd, the withdrawl reflected in my account tab, and I am happy to announce that THIS MORNING my USAA bank account shows the large partial payment has safely made it into my bank account. That’s just two business days after having completed the request on-line.

Ok- the feeling is FINALLY it is fully working for me.

It’s like learning to ride a bike, and now it’s time to have Mom take the training wheels off.

Weeeeeeee!!!!!

I believe when I was setting up my new account login information, I read a brief statement that the "history" would be populated sometime "mid month of June". So I expect to be able to see "history" after the 15th of June.

Federal News Network:

Survey shows new TSP system difficult to navigate for some participants

After the Federal Retirement Thrift Investment Board launched a new system for Thrift Savings Plan participants to access their retirement savings, many users expressed frustrations over numerous technical challenges with the update.

Among issues like hours-long hold times for customer service and technical difficulties on the website, a few other common concerns surfaced in a Federal News Network exclusive online survey.

We received 1,815 responses, composed of about 67% current federal employees, 30% retired federal employees and 3% former federal employees who are not retired. The results account for a small portion of TSP participants and some numbers may not accurately reflect the actual breakdown of all users’ experience.
