nasa1974's Account Talk

Just wondering why not use the DWCPF for the S fund and AGG for the F Fund?

Many years ago when I started to keep track of the monthly returns I got my information from GovExec.com and that is how they had their charts. I have just kept it that way. I guess what I should do is get rid of the second column for the CS&I funds just to clean it up.

The DWCPF and AGG tracks the S and F funds respectively to the penny.

Those of you that jumped off the lily pad yesterday, congratulations. Let's hope we have a few more days of positive results. GO BULLS!!!

What a week this was. Not fun. At least Monday and Friday bookended a terrible middle. We can only hope October will be better then September. Not going to hold my breath. I hate that passing out and falling down thingy that happens.

Well the market giveth and the market taketh away. At least I stayed positive for the week and the month and haven't blown through a months worth of sticky pants in the first week.

Same here..so far in the black for October, but I still have a long way to go to recoup the September losses.

Well yesterday the "S" fund was looking good early but by mid afternoon oil took everything negative. Let's hope we can end the day today in the green to offset what happened yesterday. Sticky pants deployed depends on standby.

After the negative close yesterday and a similar positive close today it looks like the "S" fund will add a few dollars to my account. Let's hope for a good day tomorrow.
Sticky pants still deployed.
Good luck everyone.

Well the last 3 days the "S" fund has finally gotten me back to my high point since 9/2. I'm almost to the magic number I want to be at to transfer my TSP to my wife's and my 401K. Yep I'm looking to get out. I want to consolidate so it will be easier to get a monthly check. Hopefully the next few days will be good to me and I can jump to "G" and start the process.
Good luck everyone.

Well the market giveth and the market taketh away. Yesterday the "S" fund was a positive 0.59% and today a minus 0.56%.

Well yesterday was a good day for the "S" fund. :D Today not so much. Today was almost a repeat of last Friday.
