Also, when everyone thinks something will happen in the market (sell in May)...it usually doesn't. IMHO, this year will be different. Just be ready in case it does happen.

clester, let's hope May turns out to be a good month. Last year April teased us but ended on the negative side for C, S & I. But May felt like it was going to shake off the losses from 2010 & 2011. That didn't happen. This April has really been back and forth and the S fund has struggled. So what are the odds that May will have four bad years in a row? The market is fickle but there is always hope.
