nasa1974's Account Talk

So the question is will the market continue to move up or are we looking at a short bounce. Yesterday was a good day for the "S" fund and today is looking good so far. My luck I will jump back in and then the market will tank again.

That's what I'm thinking, but my RIGHT to WRONG ratio isn't that good. crying-with-laughter.gif

I need your hope to make it keep going up because I need to get out of the negative hole I'm in for the year. I can't believe I was up around 10% earlier in the year and now I am in the negative... I've just been riding the waves since my timing is so bad that at least if I hold on eventually I will get back to where I started right? :)

Yeah! I'm not very good at picking my in and out spots. I got out of the "S" fund at $21.9053 a share and yesterday it closed at $21.2278. So if I do go in today and the "S" fund equals yesterday's move up I will still get in lower than when I got out. The question is will this be a short term bounce or something we can run with for a few days?

It is always a tough decesion when to get out. It depends on how much pain you can take. But it is even harder to make that move back into the market. I might have made my move yesterday but I went to Cedar Point with my daughters. After a very positive day yesterday and today looking real good do I get in today or will the market take a rest tomorrow with a little red and be a better day to get in. Dang it. Or is this just a tease and June will rip our hearts out just like last year?

Dang this 12 noon deadline. I'm hedging towards 100% S again. I will not be home tomorrow and it just feels like tomorrow might be an exhale day after good gains yesterday and more than likely today. News on the Euro and the G7 summit has to come out good or there will be hell to pay (just a gut feeling). But also Fridays do not have a good track record for being positive going into the weekend. Dang it!!!!

Well I wish I was in for yesterday and today, but that is now in the past. Currently I am not pulling the trigger today. I just don't have the warm fuzzy feeling.

I try to NEVER get in on a big up day, but that's just me.

Missed it, full overcast here, no big deal i will just wait for the next time, thats soon right? wait... not so much. Missed the shuttle flyby of DC too (unavoidable meeting). I am not doing well this year! haha

Some great shots here as well: In Focus - The 2012 Transit of Venus - The Atlantic

In other interesting space news, NRO gave NASA two unused KH-11's (hubble like, but a bit different, with a movable secondary mirror). I don't expect them to ever fly, but it is an interesting possibility, or museum piece:

I didn't jump in yesterday thinking that there would be a short pullback today and a typical Friday. Then China lowers their rates. Dang it!!! Well I jumped in with both feet and went 100% "S" fund. Let's hope this rally lasts for awhile.

Just a bit surprised on the finish in the markets today. Let's hope for good news or no news over the weekend and we may have a great start to the week. Of course sometime next week Greece citizens vote again. Wait! Hold on! Is this coming week experations week or the week after the 16th?
