Hello my friends!
I wanted to talk to you about your TSP fund and it importance in your life. Except for God, family, country, and your job, your TSP fund, investments, and retirement planning may be the next most IMPORTANT priority in your life!
Did you know that if you (Federal Employees) earn $50,000 per year AND
Contribute 10% into you account while earning 10% average per year interest, you will hit $1,000,000 in just under 27 Years?
Contribute 10% into you account while earning 15% average per year interest, you will hit $1,000,000 in just over 20 Years?
Contribute 10% into you account while earning 20% average per year interest, you will hit $1,000,000 in just over 16 Years?
Contribute 15% into you account while earning 20% average per year interest, you will hit $1,000,000 in just over 15 Years?
(Since the Military does not have matching funds, it would take a little longer than posted above...but not by much.)
Are 10-20% averages possible? With your active participation and the help of the great folks here at TSPTalk.com, I believe they are.
The markets fluctuate and there is never any guarantee but, taking the emotion out of the trading picture sure helps. It comes down to having a defined plan or system that you follow, instead of following your emotions.

Next, I invite you to look at a few of the options for creating you strategy. Look at the Sentiment Survey, the Premium Service Strategy's, and feel free to look at the attached 10mo. M-SMA strategy that several folks helped me create. Also look at JTH’s MARCON Blog, Poolman's Video's, Coolhand’s blog and RULES FOR FOLLOWING THE SEVEN SENTINELS, and Birchtree’s Account Talk.
Then, READ READ READ….There will be many posts, at first, that may be over your head but it will come in time.
