That was a wonderful treat! Tchaikovsky is second only to Bach as my favorite composer of all time. I love Swan Lake and The Nutcracker Suite. I drag Spouse to see Nutcracker every year, although it's been easier to get him there the last couple of years because we've had two granddaughters dancing in the production.

I must admit, however, that whenever I hear The 1812 Overture my brain sings, "This is the cereal that's shot from guns!" :toung: Are you all too young to remember that commercial?

Buster, if this was ALL it took to be a Conservative, then hell yeah. I come from good redneck stock. I have a Yamaha Grizzly 450 ATV and I used to drive it just like the first few seconds of the clip. (I stopped after my neurologist threatened me. :laugh When I first started playing the guitar, I said it GI-tar just like I'd always heard it pronounced.
