I think you will be letting it ride for 2 days because I think TSP won;t be processing IFT's tomorrow. I think tomorrows IFT will not process until Monday.

From the TSP website:
Special Notice for April 14: Because some of the stock and bond markets will be closed Friday, April 14, we will not be updating share prices in any of the TSP funds for that day. Consequently, transactions will not be processed until the following business day (that is Monday, April 17).

Thanks for the info. I know our markets are closed tomorrow, what the heck am I gonna do with myself, and it was just brought to my attention that European markets may be closed Monday?

Got a moderate buy signal so I'll be moving to 100% S this morning.

Not much else to say.....................

Happy returns,

Well I went out on a limb and bought some VSPC.OB today at $.92. It may drop some more but I expect to sell it within a couple weeks for at least a 50% gain.......................or not.........

S&P futures up .27% as of right now. Let's see what happens at 8:30am when the PPI comes out. I'm expecting something nice.................of course, I have high expectations.....................

A 0.1% core PPI would be nice. :D

C'mon in

It's always nice to have some company for a day or so. You might learn to like the wall flowers we have here - they have so much potential even if they lack flair.

The C Man

Sorry C man, had a change of heart. But I'll be halfway in with ya. I decided to go 50% C and 50% I because I want to remain aggressive yet conservative, if you know what I mean.... Hopefully Europe will follow us up tomorrow, but if peeps don't like the CPI data tomorrow, interest rate hike concerns may scare folks so I went C instead of S. It might also cause the dollar to strengthen so I only went 50% I.

Just my thoughts anyway...........................

Can't remember the last time I played the C fund.............

Nice move. I'm not sure if S will correct tommorrow or if C will continue further. I do think the move into I-fund was a good move since foriegn markets will likely follow US tommorrow.

Thanks FS. Looking good so far. I probably should of went 100% I but I didn't want to push my luck after it gave me a nice day on Monday. Guess we'll see. I might wait until tomorrow to get back into the S fund. If we can manage to stay up today, we might correct a bit tomorrow. Vice versa if we head down after the CPI report.

Just trying to feel my way around. I'm not a "trading goddess" ya know........

Okay Birchnut, you can have your C fund back. I'll be going to 50% S and 50% I this morning. At least I didn't go 100% into yesterday like I originally planned. Hopefully tomorrow's data can give us another kick in the shorts.

Moving to 100% F this morning and if it doesn't give me at least a penny tomorrow, then I'm going to hold my breathe till it does!!

Well, good news bad news this morning. Looks like the bond market is down this morning. But have you seen Europe? Everythings down over 1% this morning.

I've been getting divergent signals for the past week and it's been very confusing. We need direction!! If we stay down today, it may be a good day to jump back in. Maybe not though..............how's that for a strategy?

Happy returns,

M_M
