Notice how the vultures come out after one big down day? These people haven't been in the "game" long enough ...................

I can feel techy biting his tongue waiting to say " I told you so".......tooo bad it was only 1% or so. Don't worry, we'll get it back before the week is over...........;)

There were some folks coming out of the wood work getting on my case because I'm overly aggressive with my stock purchases - I wouldn't call them vultures but just simply inexperienced. They like to run in the same lemming herd.
 
I hope I'm right to FT!! Gotta stick by my guns. It's happened before and I'll give examples tomorrow. This is about the time that my old system would whipsaw me if I got out. Guess we shall we see.

Sometimes you just come across the wrong way. Glad that never happens to me..........;)

I lost 4% in my Roth today. Still up 11% for the month and my goal is 10% a month so although I could be happier, I'm still content......for now.....
 
I'm watching "The Bachelor Rome" on TV. Does anyone really believe that girl is a virgin and saving herself for marriage? I would of bought it if she had said one time but she makes a point of saying it every 15 minutes......she might be sugarandspice though. One is, one isn't........:p

On July 20th I got a buy signal with the S fund closing that day at 16.37. The next day it fell to 16.11 and I'm sure most people would of said "to heck with this" and jumped back out. The next day it went to 16.47. One must maintain their composure when working with an investment system or strategy.

I tell my friends whose accounts I help with to not watch their accounts daily if they own any type of weapon.....................:nuts:
 
You are of course correct - but it's so hard to ignore the herd influence, when one goes off the cliff they all go off the cliff. It's like a lemming party - fun to watch though.
 
Gotta like what Bertanky said today. I think he's setting us up for that bounce tomorrow. He knows the concensus range for the GDP tomorrow is between 1.4 and 1.9%. If we come in within that range, the month before was 1.6, I think inflation fears are muted but shows enough growth at this juncture to sustain a rally. SHould help bonds also.

Guess we shall see..............................
 
Looking at todays chart of the S&P, it appears we are in a trading triangle with ascending support and a flat resistance. Let's hope we break above it and not below and get this rally going today!! :D

Looks like I was wrong about bonds, but at least I'm not in them........

Went to the I fund today because I expect the dollar to weaken overnight into tomorrow.

I'm hoping that the personal spending numbers are better tomorrow than expected. If it's up only 0.1%, that could make people a little nervous going into December. Especially people in retail stock.

Thanks FS, it's cool when one does something right. SS got it right also. :) Hopefully the I fund won't throw me another curve today though.................:blink:

Not sure if this rebound is the start of bigger and better things, or just an illusion.

Heading back over to my S fund. May not be long if I get a sell signal tomorrow, which is highly possible.......................
