Oscar, for 4/3/09
More certain that "fundamental shift" has occurred. More charts above Omni Proprietary average. Unless Jobs report today is horrendous, the market is moving further up today. (No specifics said about after but the implication is that he is no longer bearish. ) He cited his bullishness as S&P was rising and shift to bearish when it got at its peak, seemingly as backup to his thinking that a fundamental shift has occurred now. He actually erased "Don't Fall In Love" from the board leaving "With the Upside". Is this capitulation in reverse?

He gave no verbal acknowledgement of Birchtree's prowess. :)

Trust me, Oscar calls Birch before he does his video. Birch should get a commission ! ;)

Oscar?

Oscar has not posted a weekend webinar. The last we saw was for 4/8 where he had verbally hedged his previous action of taking off "Don't fall in love" but did not restore it, saying the days ahead would confirm or refute his "fundamental shift".

Re: Daily market video's. One stop shopping.

Oscar's not into trading just before a holiday. Then he usually likes to see what the market does before trading after the holiday, but I see he had a buy signal already posted for today.

Correction. He has a neutral position this morning (Monday). He had a green arrow posted and I assumed he was buying.

Oscar for Wed 4/15. NASDAQ shows flat top which produces market drop. Triple top visible. Will penetrate upchannel to downside. Still bear market but flattened. Small possibility of dropping to triple top level just below current level and rally up. DOW is at do or die point. Transports also have flat top. Trend channel up now has bearish indicators for a down day or two coming. July soybeans going further up.

No mention of love.

Oscar, for Thursday trading. Short video with S&P only. Erased the flat top drawing and drew another. Two days down and turnaround up pattern. Says his indicators continue down. But formation is up. Use formation for Thursday trading. Green omni for Thursday.

Still just "with the upside" on the board. Still says we are in a bear market but within an upchannel.

Is this what bear capitulation looks like?

Re: Daily market video's. One stop shopping.

Ira Epstein mid day stocks for Tuesday 4/28, actually after COB. Notes the probable impact of the FOMC and shows that we are still below the upper Bollinger band.

(I don't get the hesitation today. With the Fed's and Treasury's new skills in spin control so as to maintain the spring euphoria, it seems clear that no bad report will be forthcoming.)

I've really enjoyed the last few days of Ira's videos, because he's in major teaching mode. Cool stuff. Thanks for sharing, Warrenlm!

Oscar 5/4 from his weekend webinar. Market rising to reach the 200dma. Derisive of news that gives negative perspective on current data/events. Cited good data on manufacturing.

Still has not added "I'm in love" to the "with the upside". Still no mention of Birchtree. More continuing emphasis on his calling as a day trader vice long term. Has not mentioned Las Vegas building slowdown for a long time.
