I went ahead and put a transfer in today before the deadline to get back in G. Made my % or so for the month. Realistically, I'd like to earn 12% a year, which is reasonable if I'm patient.

Anyone hear about the new real estate fund they are goint to add to the TSP. Of course, I keep hearing that real estate is forming a bubble, so now they're gonna make it available to us so the 'smart money' can bail out and leave us holding the bag. The power of lobbyists.

This is really none of my bees wax, but could I ask you what your percent you just gained might comput out to in terms of dollars. Just curious to see what the jump provided.

FWIW, based on articles others have posted here, it looks like the TSP board is very much opposed to adding a real estate fund.

You will see the life cycle fund class added this summer, and that's it.

If TSP is going to add any new asset class, the most obvious choice would be emerging markets.

Many of the Bulls and the Bears are all putting up the money. Lots and lots of debates. Bears are shorting, Bulls are going long. Who will be correct? Should we believe Kirk Kerkorian? Long term investors this is a good time to buy on the dips under 1160 in the S&P. Bottom is in....... Market timers it's going to be a crazy year......Your going to pull your hair out if you can't take market swings. Lots and lots of ups and downs coming this summer.
