Market Talk / Nov. 19 - Nov. 25

Bloomberg TV trader/analyst says the dollar decline will probably attract overseas money seeking to buy U.S. equities at lower prices now that the dollar is weaker.

Unfortunately the futures look desparate for the opening - we'll see if there are any buyers at better value pricing. My DCA hits today. That weaker dollar will help the SPX at some point. My wife will hold her AEPGX - international fund.

I think Peggy Lee states the bearish case the best: "Is that all there is"? If we can reach positive that may bring in some side line money. Snort.

It's good to remember that small caps tend to outperform large caps on a significant basis in January. After that I'm going to peel off a small percent and place in my wife's international fund. Looking for another $0.50 gain during December in the C fund. I've only gotten 4 DCAs in the $15.00 range - my world is moving too rapidly but I'm not complaining. Snort

I have my wife's Hewitt 401k 100% in the S&P 500 since the 17th; $12.55 per share. Bummer to loose all of last weeks gains in one fail Friday sweep though. I have her at a 16.6% YTD; after that .4% loss. Hope December performs as you suggest (and I believe). I'd have her in the Internationals, but Hewitt has a 14 day minimum stay; in and moving out. Internationals are considered long term at Hewitt, and not readily tradable with speed.
As always Birch, good luck this week. :)

Will be closing this week's thread and starting a new one!
Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving*
