Dollar Stonger

Tokyo weaker.

CAC down.

FSTE poised to drop some more.

Sorry folks. No trade into "I" today for me- "I" will be down strongly. I'll enjoy the day watching from the sidelines and will check back tomorrow.

"Yeah, all the "experts" are saying buy this dip." Have you ever heard any of those "gurus" say: "For god sakes, SELL_SELL_SELL!!!!" Nope, it always seems that when the markets are up; BUY, and when the markets are down, BUY.:notrust:

I believe a few days ago I mentioned that we were going in for a semi-minor correction (maybe 10%) for a couple of weeks.....I still expect the correction and any rise up should be temporary......keep your assest safe until things clear would be a safe move in my opinion....;)

I'm going to be out all week, so I won't be posting after today until next week....;)

Later ....

China ended up another 3.82%. To bad it is not in the I fund. :(

China's stock market is rocking, up 55% year to date.

I shouldn't have opened my mouth:(

Conditions are...........never mind............I won't make the same mistake twice:nuts:

yeah I sure did didn't I ...honest mistake...been busy...should'a been in yours......and you're not a moderator anymore???....now I wonder how that might have happened....maybe because you cause to many ripples and ruffle too many feathers.....something to consider next time you loook in the mirror for the remainder of your life.....

If you'd actually read other people's comments instead continuing to scream the sky is falling, you'd have read that I resigned from the post for the same reason that I never wanted to be a kindergarten teacher.......

I don't have mirrors in my house anymore. I was ran over by a herd of bulls back in 2003. Someone kept saying the sky was falling.............

I'll take this one Mlk.

He hasn't been a moderator for quite some time. And he quit, he didn't get fired. He ruffles your feathers because he throws the BS flag on people like you. Judging from the exchange in Fundsurfer's account, everyone is starting to see you the way he and I have seen you from the beginning. Tough break Tech.

Are things going to the dogs or not?

The economy (fundamentals) are still in place for good market conditions, however they have been bruised by the continued high interest rates imposed by the Fed. Also the rise in energy prices and the seasonal sentiment that the summer monthe are not the best months for the market.

Indicators, both short term and long term show the market is advancing [$SPX] when viewing the 40-50 day moving averages. The short term conditions show a very volatile market and can be a bit scary when the large red candle sticks pass below the 50 day moving average, as they have the past few trading days.

But, indicators for the long term, i.e., weekly charts tend to smooth out the conditions and show a bigger picture. The [$SPX] is remaining above the 40 day moving average.

So, how are we doing. As a bench mark I would use the L-Income fund, because it uses the theme of capital preservation. The Tracker had it's current return at 2.73%. Above-great. Below-take a look at your strategy.

Regards, and be careful!................:) .................Spaf

Is this a test to see if anybody is reading your posts.
China actually ended down over 2 percent and if I'm not mistaken it is in the I fund, albeit a very small percentage.

SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) -- Crude-oil futures fell under $70 a barrel Monday, mirroring a broad decline among commodities on the heels of last week's forecast of weaker growth in global oil demand for the year.

I think Krude shot himself in the foot. If demand is down, that says to me that folks ain't driving as much.

How much money was the CEO at Exxon making? :notrust:
