General Commentary:
A lot of folks are talking about a stimulus to get the economy running. I recieved a e-mail that kinda defines a stimulus --> "Stimulus is where the government gives a smidgen of your tax dollars back to you making you feel so good about yourself [stimulated] that you want to run out to Wal-Mart and buy a new Chinese-made HDTV and go home and watch Telemundo." It seems that 2009 is going to be a long year for recovery. Do we hear 2010?
According to some folks the S&P is down some 38 percent, or 43 percent from the high in October 2007. Last week it fluttered within a trading range of 800 to 870. It appears that the battering from the financial crisis is going to take some time to get better, in the mean time we stay on life support. When recovery comes about, it will take a while.
Pricing remains under the 50dma.
The Bollinger Bands are showing a modest volatility.
The P-SAR still has changed back to bearish.
Volume has been somewhat low.
The S-STO is in a neutral range, between over-bought and over-sold levels.
The MACD is somewhat flat registering around neutral.
Well, that's it for the weekend!
Be careful out there!
