She is up 343.99 currently - and S&P 500 futures are starting to perk up. There are so many non-believers in Santa Claus that I wouldn't want to be in front of this bullet train with nothing but my shorts on. Calling all BULLS - you want some come get some before it's all gone. I got lots of free manure to give away to the organic farmers - sure makes things grow better. Happy Hollidays.

What would be the 50 day and 200 day moving averages for each index? Would be a prudent thing to know at this time.

Which way do we go, Which way do we go!!!! I thought we broke out today... Maybe we did... More of the same....Currently 75% cash 25% equities.... No shorts, selling my 25% long position if we can get to 1280's... Keeping my Emerging Markets and Pacific into2006. Great run this year!!!!

Good Trading!

Market Comments: Traders are still looking forMarket Direction..

Volatile session

3:30 PM EST –The indexes have been relatively active intraday, trading in a notably volatile fashion throughout today's session. However, today's extreme volatility has made directional forecasting difficult. Within context, we suggest traders focus on the short-term support and resistance levels posted below. Look for a decisive break to dictate the next primary direction. However, until such a break occurs, we may witness a period range bound consolidation characterized by sharp reversals near support and resistance levels:
DOW -10,800 - 10,900
NAS - 2,215 - 2,240
SPX - 1,257 - 1,270

Japanese financial markets will be closed Friday for the Emperor's birthday, a national holiday. The markets will reopen on Monday, Dec. 26.

I've been out of late....I have been hunting for the last several days.....one doe....if anyone wants to know....

I was hoping for a change of pace in the funds to the positive, but it looks bleak....I fund looks like it could just roll over and die....C and S have been down but they look to move up some before EOY....

I really can't say that the risk to stay in is worth it.....the safe move at the momemt is to retreat and wait until things pan out.....

Looks like we could be climbing back up that wall of worry. DJTA is leading the way again; SPX looks like it will just keep creeping back up to its upper range; small caps are the bread and butter for quick trades and still has room to move up; andthe Dow looks to be setting up to make another run at 11,000. Contrarian view- talking heads on CNBC say Santa has already come, the market is basing don't look for any more excitement for 05. Fact is, the market will usually do the opposite of what everyone expects it to do. Thetrend is now heading higher with the DJTA leading the way to another all time high.
