overall, 2009 was a good year for my first year of tsp activity and i learned some valuable lessons. i graduated from 'peon' status to 'somewhat knowledgable' status so i've decided to change my tsp motto to: 2010, LETS GET MONEY!
 
well, i took my gains and moved it all to g fund. now i'm all out of moves for the month...but i'm pretty happy with my profits - the s funds dominated!

i thought our economy was in bad shape. why is the market doing so well? no matter how hard i try to understand, it seems like nothing makes sense.
 
dangit! i knew i shouldve went all in yesterday...this market is too volatile for me so i might be in g for awhile. i need some clear trends if i'm gonna make a big move
 
Yeah but all in all, your #4 spot is a very nice accomplishment. Just get back in after a dip and ride the year out...
 
If he doesn't move to equities by the end of next week his tracker position will be lost to the more aggressive money makers now climbing - not a time to be timid. Watch what happens tomorrow and Friday - a melt up stampeding bull on the run.
 
I'm thinking about making a move today and I need some advice. Would it be wise to throw some cash at the F funds?
 
you're 100% right. i keep thinking s will go up but its been declining rapidly for awhile now. i gotta just bite the bullet and get out while i'm ahead dangit

I'm sitting pretty in the G funds right now. I'm about to make a big push up the autotracker board. The goal is top 25 by the end of August!
 
stocks were so low last week. i can't believe i past up on buying. probably the biggest mistake i've made this year...i gotta get in soon
 
i finally cracked the top 20 on the autotracker board...about to drop down to 200 after today. i knew i shouldve sold! hopefully obama gives a nice speech tonight and prices rise. i'm selling tomorrow no matter what happens.
 
finaly cracked the autotracker top 10! i should quit my day job and become a day trader ... but i won't
 
Congrat's on the top 10. I was happy to get out of the 500's last week. :rolleyes:
