I am still here guys , I quit smoking this time for good , no vapes , went to DR with a finger getting cold , (BURGERS DISEASE) I WAS TOLD THIS MAY 12 , MAY13TH I HAVE NOT HAD ONE DRAG , I WILL FIND OUT NEXT MONTH IF THEY HAVE TO CUT TIP OF FINGER off , if this don't make you quit I don't know what else could , sorry I have not posted in a while , kind of been in a dark place trying to put myself back together , finger looks a little better , but from what I have read , there is no turning back , if you smoke , please think hard about it , I was one that quit many times and said it would never be me , well bull ,it bit me good ,have to have scope Monday , they found traces of blood in me , praying hard it is just a inner hemaroid , man I don't wish this on anyone , I have a 6 year old angel I need to be here for , I promise myself there will never be another cigarret in my mouth for as long as I am here, I hope everyone is making money , I wish you all the best
 
I never heard of smoking causing people to lose fingers. It does restrict capillaries but WOW! Hang in there KC it will pass. As for the other thing, I had that before and know others in the family that did too all were Roids and turned out OK. Take care of that little one and keep racing that car, think good thoughts. Post more often we miss Ya!:D
 
Norm if you watch any commercials , now that I mentioned it, I see it on TV all the time , people loosing legs , one lady said it started with her toes then all her fingers , one guy said they just started popping off , ,man I was shocked , I asked my DR. he said he cant say if just the one finger , or will it keep going , he really is not sure , but the best thing was quit period , no matter where it goes , it has to be better , man I miss stopping in here , I need to get out of this rut, I am stuck in , been thinking about maybe selling cars, but I need to go out and smell some good fuel, burning rubber, a few more times , this should lift me up believe me I miss it all , some night soon I will get back down the track .a friend I have known almost all my life built my transmissions, was racing July5 and July 9th , (my Birthday) he made it to hospital that morning , had a heart attack ,and never came back, I guess I at that age I see a lot more , about 2 weeks ago a lady I worked with for 29 years passed , smile be thankful and live like there may be no tomorrow , we are not promised tomorrow , so I am trying to live and be thankful each and everyday I see , and the folks I meet on my way

Go for it KC and never quit, quitting makes it worse. When you,re as OLD as I am many of your friends and most of family are gone and I'm thinking, why am I still here? I don't know why but I'm not stopping doing anything as long as I can do it, enjoying life is the way I like it!

I, too, have missed your posts and commentary ! Pull yourself out of that "mental rut", and keep coming back !

Great to hear from you on the forum KC. It's been some years since we last talked because I was gone form the forum for a long time after the 2009 meltdown. Hope all will be well with you. All the best.

Thanks everyone , test came back good on my scope , Thank God, now my finger and my mind , but its better every day , thanks everyone , I will try to get going again soon , hey I finally mowed the dog pen, now the misses isn't so mad at me :eek:
