Hello Kar, Thought you would enjoy this. All you Ford fans out there beware. My son has an 2007 F150 with a 5.4 Triton and it was running a little rough. Computer test showed a misfire so he decided to try changing the plugs (at 13.99 each x eight). Was ticked before he got started but did fine until plug # eight when it broke off. Apparently this is a common problem with this model. Something about the two metals combining and rusting ? Ford had to hire an engineer to design and build a speciality tool to remove broken plugs because dealerships filed so many complaints. He found one at a speciality tool store in Atlanta ($ 120.00) and was able to get it out. Is running great now but this really screwed up his weekend. Prospect of $ 2,000.00 repair bill was looming. Just a heads up for all you Ford truck owners out there. May want to let the dealership handle your plug changes!
