kar crazy's Account Talk

its getting to be a little easier , hell on candy just can tell I cant breath . bought a new truck and didnot want to smoke in it and I dont smoke in the house . I hope the hard part is over by now GoodLuck , candy is alot cheaper;)

I love candy already!! Ut oh............

Since being with the love of my life, I'm down to a half pack a day. When I was working for the government, I'd go all day without smoking and didn't bother me a lick. But during that 60 mile drive to and from work, I'd smoke like a freakin' chimney......... I don't smoke in the house either, or in bars, or in restaurants or in.............

BTW, I was at one of those "Pick And Pull" junk yards in Texas a few weeks back and some guy that works there got on me for smoking in the yard. I said "What! It's a junk yard in the middle of no where!!"............times are changing aren't they.........

good luck KC!! i have a couple freinds who quit and relized after how much they stink. i told my boys that i better not catch them smoking, or else!!! so far so good 19 and 22 yrs old. think about the $$$ u will save and what you can do with it, just a little incentive.

Congrats KC! I quit about three months ago after 27 years. Not easy by any means, but they say nothing worthwhile is, right? I've been using Welbutrin and nicorette for intense cravings and so far has worked pretty well. I admit, I've fallen off the wagon a couple of times just cuz I knew no one was looking--just makes it that much harder to start over again so take my advice, DON'T DO IT!!!! Just one will hurt.

Keep up the fight and we'll all feel better--you're welcome to join in too I_T!

My 2 cents: Said this before on the MB too.

I think that being in the mindset of trying to quit is making becoming a non-smoker very difficult.
If one can switch their mindset to that of a non-smoker, and "Stay away from me with that disgusting smelling thing!" attitude, you'll have it licked in 3 days.

+1

Amen to that. I quit 14+ yrs ago using that same attitude, no drugs or stop-smoking aids needed. Just cold turkey. Dis-associate yourself with the environments and situations that lead you to smoke.

You can do it! ;)
