She is so BEAUTIFUL !!

I eagarly looked to see if I could put her picture in with my collection.

I've got Frixxxx's and Nnutt's dogs in so far.

They (and children) are the purest of the pure and only deserve all the love, admiration, and respect we could possibly give.

Thanks for sharing,

Steady

You should show some of this love with all the military vets you come in contact at the VA. But you can't since you despise them.

Passed to "L Income" fund in the tracker yesterday. Alot of people who are invested more than I am passed me though so I only moved a couple of spots. Can't wait to see what today brings.

Took the weekend off from most everything. This weekend was our 22nd wedding anniversary so I spent time with the wife and stayed off the net. Still 70G/15S/15C. Looking for a little more upside.;)

From the bottom of my heart, I wish you both a Happy 22nd Anniversary ! :)

JB45, Congratulations. The wife and I will be celebrating our 30th in May. Going to Hawaii and cruising 4 islands to celebrate our anniversary and my 5th year as a prostate cancer survivor. Hope you have many more years.

You too my friend, you have a double reason to celebrate. Congrats and many more.:D:D

Still 70G/15C/15S. Another good day and slowly moving up towards positive territory. 20/20 hindsight is wishing I was in more and slowly starting to lock in gains. If the S&P can close above 805 I may become bullish like Birchtree. :D The way we blew through 741 was pretty impressive but 805 will be very telling.:worried: Good luck tomorrow for anyone still in.

I doubled down on C/S today with it looking like consolidation day with the plan to ride up to 805. Boy after what the market did today that may have been a mistake. :embarrest: Ole Big Ben snookered me. I really didn't think he would actually announce a plan to buy back treasury securities in the current situation (i.e. government is broke, so to buy back you need to print more money). Companies buy back stocks and securities all the time when they are flush with cash and it makes sense but they aren't printing the money to do the buy back. His problem is that he is treating the symptom and not the cause. Sure this will probably drive down interest rates and promote some lending in the short term but it doesn't fix the problems. Depending on how much of this he does he could dislocate the bond market and that's all she wrote. I sincerely hope he doesn't take it that far. But just in case:

I have my physical metal holdings, guns/ammo, some food stock piled and hermetically sealed seeds (good for 4 years @ 70 degrees). I may need more seeds, might be worth their weight in gold if the dollar goes the way of the peso. If not I will have plenty for the garden over the next several years.

Don't mind my rant, just peeved at Ben.

On a more positive note, since I am now 40G/30C/30S I was trying to put a positive spin on my current allocation and I found it:

On 9 Oct 2007 my TSP account peaked in value. I was 30C/30S/40I and riding the bull. Today with my current 30% allocation in C/S I have +68% more shares than I did then and I still have 40% in G. THANK YOU MB!!

I'm still looking at options but Birch may be right. It may be time for me to jump in and hold on tight with my current allocation and wait for the bull. Worst case is we go to 600 or less and I use my reserve to buy more shares. Best case we take off and I buy all the way to the top like our resident guru.:D

Please point out any flaws you see in this senario...............

Several people on the MB think we have more upside coming. I do too. I do believe we will consolidate for a few days though.

Even more people are bearish and saying down, down, down. While I think that is coming it's not here yet. IMO.

Normally I would get out let the market consolidate and then jump back in but I have no IFTs for the month. There are 8 trading days left. I agree with UpTrend's analysis on his page. I think there wil probably be more down days than up for the rest of the month. I think I will lock in some gains today and sit in the garage until the 4/2. I rode this up from 8.39 on the C fund and I want to protect that.

Shortly after I wrote this my pager went off. Yes I really do still carry one of those archaic devices. It was a search so I called into work and headed out to the woods. Things turned out well and I am now back home trying to figure out what I missed. More later.

The 50 day MA for the DJIA is at 7669 - we might easily cruise that today. Trillions of dollars on the sidelines missing this rally - when we they jump into the pool.

I sold the rally. If this is anything other than a strong bear market rally then I am going to be very disappointed. Closing above 805 is very bullish IMO. I think it may be decided this week which way we are headed, but that is just a gut feel and not based on anything technical. Big congrats for anyone in the market today. You made out.;)
