Not on this round, I tend to only scalp on the days I'm off work. This was an exciting day to buy into the pain. One of my systems triggered a buy, so I'm in...

I'm thinking something like you. I'm thinking of being 50% in before January 1st and decide to go 50% more in or out later using a more news based outlook. Markets now move within two days now with world news and fast computers. So one half technical analysis and one half on a guess. Maybe 50/50 your/my guess.

Financial news changes almost every day. It seems it would be very hard to trade based on news. My 2 cents worth.

Thus far the buy signal has been solid, too bad I was already invested (this particular system doesn't trigger accurate sell signals.)
