Third waves are wonders to behold because they take place on trend line violations where everyone finally acknowledges the direction of trend and starts throwing in the towel.

At this time I can see strong potential to test the 1687 area this month, somewhere in the green circle.

For those looking to buy, this is a tough place to find an entry. My price objective is still on target, but I do expect to see resistance at the red line and we are also near the top of the rising yellow channel. I've met my goals for the month, so an exit is looking probable.

My TZA is a hedge, if I take a loss in it, it means I'm taking a gain in my other holdings.

I haven't understood the whole hedge thing... if you are going to hedge, why trade?

I'm not the only trader that does this, the purpose of a short hedge is to offset your long positions when they take a loss. When a pullback does eventually materize, I will cash in my TZA and because I DCA'd on the way down, I will be able to exit lower than when I initially entered and still make a profit. My postion sizing in TZA is less than 20% of my overall account, but because it's a leveraged 3X ETF, it will recover faster.

Yeah, but what goes up, must come down ... as they say, right? I've been waiting for that since about June 26th! Kicking myself the whole time! Geesh!

Sitting 14.55% YTD.

Oh joy, every day is yet another YTD high for me, yet I've been trailing the S-Fund by about 6-9% for the past 2 months. It's just too difficult to outperform a bull market that won't give you a decent pullback. Odds favor I'll get another opportunity to catch up, whether or not I can capitalize on that opportunity is all together another matter...
