Not happy with the price action. C&S is holding up well, the transports are on-the-edge of breaking down, EFA is looking for a test of my bottom trendline, the Dollar takes on even more damage, and AGG is confirming. I don't see any reason to lock in a loss just yet, I'll definitely throw out an extensive report this weekend, I'm going old school with new school tools...

Now there you go, that's you at your best. And we thank you and others will too. Differenses in opinions give people a choice. Get them thinking, let them learn. You do fantastic charts that help others decide. Thanks.

Well it certainly don't feel bad, but I can honestly say I don't want to beat everyone on the tracker, I want to annihilate them, all of them, every single person, and I'll push old ladies down a flight of stairs to do it.

But the reality is I have to do what's best for myself and sometimes that conflicts with my performance on the tracker. We still have two weeks left, much can happen and I could easily end up below 100 in days flat.

I'm looking for some feedback here, does this data make sense to you? This is a quick-statistic view of some of the data I've been collecting & organizing, using automated formulas within Open Office.

Granted you are kickin our collective butts now but don't look back. Some are very close behind you. And you are less than 570 positions ahead of me. More than half year to catch and pass you. I'm keeping eyes on Amoeba as he moves up, we will too.

Looks like a different way to make the charts give you a overbought/oversold analytical breakdown. If you apply the stop light system the key is how you measure the distance or width of each colored light to make a call on weather it is OB/OS. JMO

As much as I'm happy the markets have turned to the upside thus far today, I care more about the finish. We've had too many post IFT deadline turndowns recently.

Looks like a different way to make the charts give you a overbought/oversold analytical breakdown. If you apply the stop light system the key is how you measure the distance or width of each colored light to make a call on weather it is OB/OS. JMO

Well it is as you mention, but I'm not trying to incorporate buy/sell signals, that process requires more data than I have availbale to me. What it does do, is confirm what I'm already seeing in the charts. It's funny, you shouldn't trust a mechanical system 100%, and you shouldn't trust a human 100% either.

Here's a piece of news you may find interesting, that I didn't mention in my most recent blog http://www.tsptalk.com/mb/blog.php?b=1183. The transports have the strongest reading and the second strongest 4/20SMA deviation at .98%

No averaging down? and I've been doing it all last week and today?

How about selling when you hit your uspide target (I didn't, and now I am paying for that, too).

Maybe time to post some of the do's and don'ts again....for those like me who never learn....

You bring up some great points, and I've had to midify things for 2011. You may have noticed I no longer use the word 'rule' it has changed to 'goal'. I try to meet my goals, but if I don't, it doesn't mean I've broken any rules. Rules are a bit too unbending, while goals provide some flexability needed in a Market.

The top two Auto Trackers have shuffled out to the G-Fund, too chikin **** to risk losing their spots.

Congrats Mayday I think you have a fair chance of scooting up to the number 3. It's good to have company I know & love, not some non posting, non sharing ratt azz bastards like the folks above me.
